Yea I understand what you are saying. About that guy, I have absolutely no affiliation to him at all. I bearly have time to come on here and reply to my own threads let alone ask someone to post for me and create more threads about me. I try to get most of my blog traffic from organic Google traffic, I work on that as my traffic source, not asking people to post about me. That guys just trolling me I guess, I donno.

Well, after all is said and done, you make your money whatever way you are comfortable with.
I just think BHW had started to OD on FH threads and some of the adulation seemed phoney.
You might be right, maybe some people were starting FH threads just to troll you but if you present yourself in a certain way then it will sometimes attract negativity.
If your current model is working for you then fair enough, but as I said in previous posts, the Guru style will always get called out on BHW and be ridiculed.

I've never said I'm not building a blog... I am and yes I am collecting e-mails for my list because when I drop a new post I send out an e-mail that brings me repeat traffic that brings me social shares and so forth.. as we all know. I've talked about this in other videos. What I am saying though is I don't have any plans to make it a full income. I don't have enough time to spit out content weekly like the rest and keep a consistent flow. Sure maybe I would like to have a decent blog one day if it goes well but right now I have other income and that's what I'm happy doing to earn.

I will never ever sell an SEO course trust me on that one. I know my fair share of SEO etc but not enough to put myself in front of a paid course and tell people how they should do it in return for money. Everything to know about SEO is free to anyone on the internet. No need to bundle it into a nice little course for money. My content will be free on my blog.

The reason I got defensive is because this franklin hatchet 2016 etc etc is getting out of hand. I'm glad people are trying the Shopify stuff and some some are having success but it's getting a little overwhelming but that's my issue to deal with. No, I don't think you guys are thick and yeah I know you like to take the piss. Nothing against that either.

Duly noted. I never asked for this FH stuff. It's gotten to the point where I spend a lot of my time trying to reply to PMs and e-mails because I don't want to be rude and I end up losing time for other things. I appreciate the first guy who shared his success thread the first time but Jesus.. the rest of them, I'm sure others are over it aswell.

In Frank's defense, I know for a fact he never asked for this to happen.

Being the first person here to share my success with his Shopify method (the one that caused this huge shit storm), I guess I also have an obligation to clear things up.

Frank NEVER proposed that I mention his blog, nor link it. That was out of my own free will. I followed his blog and youtube, the method worked for me. I was excited and wanted to contribute something to the community, my bad. Rather than being a douche and trying to take credit for the method, I linked to the source that I found it (Frank's blog, out of respect). I had never even talked to Frank at that point, not once. He never "paid" me to post for him either, that is completely untrue.

If you look at my thread, I never once called it the "Franklin Hatchett Method". His name was mentioned, but that term didn't get coined until later on when several other people started making their own journey threads. If you look at Frank's thread too, he never once uses the term "Franklin Hatchett Method", he called it the shopify/facebook/ecommerce method.

Frank is a humble dude, and one of the few people left here actually giving out some good solid and helpful advice (if even chooses to stay here after all of this BS).

I'd rather have 100 people like Franklin on the forum than 100 retards who keep bumping threads from 2010 or whatever.

This pretty much sums it up. I literally talk to Franklin on Skype every single day. This entire thread makes baseless accusations and assumptions about a person because of the actions of another person. You are comparing Franklin to the likes of Matt because of actions MATT took. You are assuming Franklin will go down a similar path.

Truth be told if you navigate to the Journey's section there are people, like me, who will coin a term about the thread they are following. For example my thread for BTB or Greg's thread about Build and Bank. When he was posting the thread there were 5 or 6 journey threads with his name in it. - Speaking of Greg, anyone remember that awesome thread Franklin made about twisting Greg's method for Facebook to make it even better? Oh it was also posted on his blog, must be for affiliate links and products. But it was also posted here. Shit it was also on his blog though.

To the people pointing out Twitter titles, jesus christ. That entire Twitter account is botted with Follow Liker (<-don't worry no affiliate link) for followers and purely for branding. What do you guys want his Twitter titles to say, "I made $10 in 3 Years, find out how?" Jesus christ.

I'll agree that the whole FH threads are getting a little out of hand. To assume that Franklin is paying these people to post about these threads is a little disappointing to say the least.

I haven't posted in a while (as I normally don't), but wanted to give my input here. The line between expert and guru can be crossed if left unchecked. Being that I haven't had any past interactions with the parties in this thread except W130SN, perhaps I shouldn't be posting in the first place since I don't really know where everyone is coming from. But I've had experience dealing with not trying to cross-over to the guru route.

The guru image can certainly be manufactured by outside influences if the person wants it and feeds into it. I had about an 18-month stretch where people were looking to me for information on various things. I created a biz model out of it but always came across (both before and after purchase) that we were engaging in a business transaction and I wasn't trying to be a guru or their coach/mentor for them in the future. It was merely an exchange of information for cash.

Even though I wanted to keep the relationship this way for all my clients, I kept getting hit up by new people not only looking for this info, but who came across as obsessive followers that I could influence had I chosen to. But they were potential clients so I kept an open line of communication with everyone (regardless of follower attributes). At that point I decided to not let it cross the line and avoided discussing or doing business with random people. It made more sense to me doing biz with a small group of like-minded people rather than accepting everyone and coming across as, well, that guy. I could see it being problematic for someone who is marketing to the masses cause how many is too many? How many sales pitches is too many? I decided to leave that unanswered for myself and just focus on my small group.

I don't know FH from any other random person. Perhaps he started off thinking small and it naturally started getting bigger and he wanted to capitalize on the incoming demand of followers. Personally I love hearing how people were inspired by a thread here and did something different on their own to make it work. To me it's boring to see people saying, "I did his/her method and made $50" blah blah blah. So in that regard, I don't give a shit about you copying something, making a few dollars and then posting about it.

It's good to see members get called out if its justified. I don't know anything about FH so I have nothing to say about the guy. Perhaps he's crossed that guru line but just hasn't seen it yet or doesn't want to admit it yet. But anyway, sometimes I check BHW and feel like posting.

Income reports are for credibility purposes, i.e, "what I say works", anyone (ceo sam) can regurgitate and share knowledge found from Google into an info product but how many could actually have made it into a real success? Proof of credibility is something potential buyers might like to know, and it's their opinions that matter; you and I aren't FH's target audience, he's not catering to us and what we look for in a mentor or source of info. Sure earnings can be Photoshopped, but A) anything can be faked, BTB could be broke for all we know, and B) someone of FH's prominence would be committing the crime of fraud if he was, I think we're safe in this instance. People on journey threads post earnings too for proof. If FH doing it doesn't float your boat, that means his marketing isn't meant for you, but that's all. His followers will make their own decisions as grown people and they're as much members of Blackhatworld as you or I.

It's hypey but so are all niches, sadly, I don't love it either.

Quick question Wiz. So are Jr execs, mods, and staff encouraged/allowed to post personally identifying information? Or are they simply immune to these types of rules. I mean we read shit like this that bz posts for Shit lists rules:

Yet someones's personal information, albeit a banned multi-account member, has their personal information shared on the thread by a JR Exec.
