Franklin has also added value, I'm not going to deny that at all but at the same time he is not exactly posting it on the forum himself. He has a clique of friends posting it pretending to find his posts around the internet promoting it for him to grow his name or brand.
He is not helping the forum, he is using the forum as a spring board for something else.
Many people have done it before, many people will do it again but lets just be honest and say that is what is happening, because that is what is happening.

As for my money situation, I'm comfortable dude. I could go the rest of 2016 without having to worry about any income. My post was a existential "what the fuck am I doing with my life" thread rather than a depressed one.

Actuaaaaally, I don't want to sound like a fan of Ste, but he did contribute on this forum on multiple occasions.
The most help was when he published a thread on how to make A TON of semi-unique content for SEO store. Spin it around and you get A TON of unique description for porn.
Sure, he trolls here and there, but at least when he is giving something away, he gives some value, not some semi-affiliate-cloacked-shit.

I have nothing against FH, he seems an OK guy and some of the stuff has been interesting but it is nothing new.
But, going down the Guru route is a dangerous game, but if he wants to do that then that's up to him but please not on BHW.
The real problem is that BHW has never been one for Guru's and he will probably damage his reputation on BHW if these threads continue.
Anybody who has spent a little time in the game can see what is going on, and we all know that noobs love this stuff and who it is aimed at.

Another point to mention is, you rarely see the "FREE LUCKY CHARM" type adverts anymore, why? Because people woke up to it and realised they are actually paying or the product.
The business model, whilst it can generate some revenue (maybe even a lot if done right) is not sustainable. People will realise and word will get out that you are not giving any freebies away, then you will have to diversify your business anyway so why not spend the time building a genuine business and use these simple tools to drive some traffic to your store.
As a short term promotional tool it is fine, for long term business forget it!

I just wanna second the bolded part of Ste's comment.
t0mmy is a fcking beast when it comes to providing FREE and VALUABLE content here in BHW. The guy is so underrated. If you guys check other sections of this forum other than the Making Money section, you'll see a bunch of t0mmy guides on Social Media, SEO, Content Marketing etc.
And I'm the kind of guy who loves reading these kinds of content since it serves as a great resource for my work, and I can honestly say that I learn more from t0mmy's posts than I do reading some BS blog posts on "reputed" SEO websites.
Nothing against Franklin Hatchett, or anyone else trying to sell/push a method here and lure in the noobies, but for me, there are great quality posts here in BHW that doesn't directly teach you how to earn $$$$/day but provide more useful and actual VALUE.
It's not always about what method can earn you XXX amount of dollars a month. Knowledge is power after all.
So yeah, kudos to t0mmy and thanks for all the gems you share, I'm a fan! Also, I'm more of a Ste Fishkin fan than a Franklin Hatchett fan.

It's a fine line between providing free info and going full guru retard, it's something I have to check myself for every so often. Fair dues to the guys that do it, but it's not what I'm shooting for. Someone mentioned above that it doesn't go down well here on BHW which is very true.. we'll call out and roast a guru pretty quickly.
Franklin does seem to provide some good value, but some of those screenshots Ste posted and these recent cheerleader threads popping up all over are skating in guru territory.. all is missing is the fried breakfast on the finest plastic plate, knife and fork money can buy. Kidding..
Fake gurus that make wild claims about earnings, projects and so on will always be found out.. spin enough lies and you'll eventually trip yourself up. This isn't directed at Franklin, but more a point about the guru types in general.. especially here on BHW.
