    Hello all,
I have started a games review site with a group of like minded people. We write articles and tty to post videos.

Problem with the videos is we don't sound like the poxy famous game video producers like pewdiepie and Ksi etc.

What would be the best option for us to get traffic to our social media pages and website?

I don't mind blackhat but I don't want to use these SEO firms as it didn't work for my previous 2 websites.

This is a legit website and we currently have a competition running for 1 years xbox live that just required an email but we were testing the water.

We didn't want to run the contest on Facebook as we have no fans on there yet. However we are seeing 100+ traffic per day but bounce rate is extremely high.

If anyone knows of any links I can use to read up and research to get to at least a semi big following.

YouTube videos are our main Avenue with the website a by product of having an article writer for what culture on the team.

We are using WordPress but don't have ads running on the website yet. Just monetised videos.

We are also Affiliates with the main game retailers.
    Thanks for any help.

At what position your website is currently ranking for your keywords? Gaming reviews is a great niche and Social Media would be the best way to attract visitors. I think you should do a little competitor analysis and also monitor their SM profiles to get an idea about their user-engagement and new ideas.

Join some gaming forums and put your site in your signature and get active posting helpful tips and tricks without being too spammy.

No position on Keywords yet as newly launched. Also been putting website in our signatures and posting around. Thanks for the advice so far.

    I appreciate it greatly!

My vote is for social media as well as signature links. I feel that these will both help you.

If I were you, I'd focus on paying attention to the specific video topics that get a lot of views on YouTube.

Since you already know the top names in your niche, you should have a clear idea as to which games or which niches get a lot of attention.

This is a very important starting point because most people producing videos on YouTube are clueless regarding this.

This is why most of their videos don't make any money.

If you have a clear idea as to which videos get a lot of attention, the next step is to produce content that would give you a competitive advantage.

Maybe you should use different models.

Maybe you should use a different spokesperson.

Maybe you should focus on controversial games.

Whatever the case is, you need to come up with a way to stand out based on the strength of your content.

Only once you have established a strong content base in terms of quality and niche targeting, should you even consider running contests or building content syndication networks.

I hope you see where I'm coming from, otherwise, you will be playing the game to lose.

YouTube is already giving you very powerful clues as to which directions would work.

What did you decide to do? Will you be doing anything on social media? Or have you decided to use signature links as a way to help you out?

    Is your content 100% original?

What monetization methods do you use?

How much money would you like to spend on ads in one month?
