Make sure that you have IP ADDRESS DIVERSITY in your backlinks. Google doesn't seem to reward a lot of link from one IP address, even if the domains are different and PageRank is high!

Anyone want to comment on this new backlnk method?? How about linkwheel? Does any BHW build linkwheel using different IP Address? :confused:

this is not new.
google looks not only for different IPs, it also looks for different name servers.
For this reason you can use these link wheels (different ips + ns), or search for seo hosting.
 
Yah, if you have a lot of sites in a network, THIS is when it pays NOT to have a VPS or DC but instead spread the sites out on cheap hosting accounts.
 
You can buy C-class IPs for usually $1-$2/month
 
I have to check some of those c-class IPs.

I guess i have to pay for hosting there..

Some hosts specialize in SEO hosting. They offer c-classes cheaply and they accomodate you for your seo work.

Try Gotwebhost.com for an example.
 
I'm using seo hosting to avoid the same ip issue.
 
They look into it so thoroughly, they not only know the IP, they know what part of what city your IP relates to. (Geotargeting is hot.)

That's why adsense ads from your city show up on your results pages! :rolleyes:

Unless, of course, you use a proxy from WAY FAR AWAY when you're searching, signing up for 200 gmail accounts, etc.

Yeah link building is pretty good service. I think depend on service u getting mass backlinks in your site. I will stat this service very soon.
 
Yeah that is very true, thats why on the sites I have I spread them out with 4 different companies.
 
I'm a little confused.
1: Are you saying to get IP diversity of the sites that your backlinks are hosted on.
2: Or are you guys saying you need IP diversity from the user accounts that post a backlink on a site.

I can understand 1 but not 2 because i have no idea how they could track 2.
 
The OP is discussing about the IP diversification of the sites from which you get the backlinks, Let's have an hypothetical situation. Suppose you comment on 10 blogs (and the comments are approved) and all the 10 blogs are hosted on the same IP address (some shared hosting account) so these backlinks will not have the desired effect in terms of rankings, the topic is discussed a lot by major SEO's.
 
yes thats true crawler looks for different IP and nameservers also. so its good to build links from different IPs and nameservers.

also several links from a single domain make no sense. It is counted as a single link.
