Managed enough accounts to see this play out constantly. New account behaves perfectly for the first few days , low spend, normal conversions, looks completely healthy. Client sees decent numbers and wants to scale, budget goes up, and within a day or two the account gets restricted, sometimes flagged outright
What we've learned is that Meta is actively watching the behavior pattern of a new account during this period, and the pace of scaling matters more than how "good" the account actually is. Pushing spend up too fast reads as anomalous regardless of account quality. So we keep new accounts on a controlled daily budget increase — rarely letting a client double or triple spend in one jump
Another thing that gets overlooked :by the time an account actually gets restricted, there were usually already early signals in Page engagement or connected BM assets. Most people just aren't checking those details day to day, so by the time they look back, it's already too late
Bottom line with new accounts: you're trading stability now for more room to scale later. The more disciplined the ramp-up, the more you can eventually push.
