Hi all. I have a Tumblr account for my brand that is about 2 years old and has been shadow banned.
I assume I have been shadow banned for a few reasons:
-I cannot find my posts when searching tags
-When searching my blog name I can only find it by putting the URL in directly, the search will not suggest my blog if I type most of the name in.
-Average notes per day took a HUGE drop a few months back and nothing I did could bring it back up (went from 200+ notes a day average to 0-2 per day)
So I am going to create a new account for my brand and had some questions beforehand.
-Is it a bad idea to reblog posts from my old blog to my new one?
-Can I setup/use the account on the same sim card/IP I used the old account on?
(I run 3 accounts on 1 phone with no issue currently)
-Can a shadow ban be lifted? Someone once told me they were shadow banned on Instagram and it wasn't permanent.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Other info:
- This account has 3 blogs on it. The banned account is a secondary blog and the primary blog doesn't appear to have experienced a ban.
