Never use eToro crypto wallet, they are ****

Hey,

So yesterday ať 13:46 I received email stating that I broke their wallet's ToS (???) and they closed my account and will credit the value of the BTC at the previous' day closing rate (??? BTC doesn't have closing hours like stocks).

Then I checked and there was another email 1 minute earlier at 13:45 stating that they have credited the money to my account.

YET THEY DIDN'T

They don't have phone number for EU users and I read that they can take 14 days to respond to an email. If BTC goes up, I am fucked.

Don't ever make the same mistake I did and don't ever use them.

Are you talking about a lot of money? A lot of money should be kept in safe wallets and not centralized ones. And I don`t care how much exactly, only if it's a lot of money for you.. because someone might consider 100.000$ just a few pennies while others might feel the hit of $50 in funds that they can't get back from the exchange

Yes it was a lot of money. I just didn't ever fanthom that they could do something like this, it's my fault. How can they say they credited me the money when in reality they didn't though? And I wonder how can I break their ToS lol..

Isn't it a copy trading platform?
I wouldn't trust them with my funds

You should have used an exchange like binance which is trusted by millions of users worldwide.

Etoro are FCA regulated, so you can easily file a complaint.

Before the complaint is resolved, he will get his money back anyway.

They will return your funds but it is bad that you will paid at different BTC rate as it can cause loss for big amounts.
