For years I have lived a "love and hate" relationship with YT. I've fought for years to get the damn YT algorithm to take my videos into account and while at one time I succeeded, the joy didn't last forever and my efforts on that platform went into the trash can.
However, I have never stopped trying to succeed on that platform and from trying so hard, in August of this year, I came up with an idea for a YT channel that could perhaps become successful.
I started the task of creating a channel from scratch, without having very clear the approach I wanted to give, but uploading at least one video per day, from Monday to Saturday, and what a surprise I have taken, when I see that people start to like the videos.
In less than a month, I went from zero views, to having an average of more than 60K views per day, and even had several days with averages of 150K views per day and more than 500 followers per day WITHOUT DOING ANY KIND OF CHEAT.
Wow I thought, I had finally achieved what I had been looking for for so many years.
Well, on Sunday October 24th and seeing how well I was doing with the channel, I decided to link my YT account with a tiktok account that I had created to help "boost" the visits to the channel.
The day after I created that association between YT and tiktok, I went from having 65K visits to having 40K visits, and less than a week later I went to having an average of only 1500 visits per day, that is, in less than a week, everything went once again, to the trash can.
It was not a coincidence, I don't think it was a coincidence. It was a clear penalty from YT for having linked the channel to tiktok.
After this, I have written to YT commenting the situation asking them for forgiveness (literally I did) for having linked the YT account with tiktok, I told them that I had already unlinked the two accounts, I swore not to do it again and obviously the answer of those damn bastards is that "the shitty algorithm" that they manage, checked that the visits were not made with bots or software and that surely they had detected that in my channel and for that reason, the visits had gone to the ground, which is TOTALLY FALSE BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER BUY A SINGLE VISIT NOR HAVE I USED A SINGLE SOFTWARE TO GENERATE VISITS.
Anyway, it's not worth arguing with those bastards who must surely get excited and have orgasms with the power they have to screw others.
I don't know if anyone else has had something like this happen to them, but my advice to anyone thinking of linking YT to tiktok or kwai or any of these apps, is to NOT EVEN TRY, because YT will shit all over you like it has done to me.
I don't know if the channel will recover. I have continued to upload videos with the same intensity I have been uploading them, but nothing happens. The views are a total pittance.
Believe me that if one day I had the opportunity to be alone and face to face with the person who decides how YT works, I would not hesitate for a second to break his face on behalf of all the people like me, we have struggled for years to earn a place on that platform without being able to achieve it and no matter how hard we try.
Damn YT and damn their damn policies.
And in advance I apologize for the bad words, I just wanted to vent the frustration I feel.
However, I'll keep trying and if for some reason the views pick up, I'll be back to tell the tale.
