Never godaddy again

I hope I post in right section

So i put all my eggs in one basket ,all sites to one hosting from godaddy. A week ago i receive an email for copyright trademark of some big companies that i sell and promote brand products.I reply to them that i dont sell and dont promote(I really dont),I just post fashion tips from where you can find some of this products and i am not responable for actions of other websites(like aliexpress).

And they dont reply to me.Next morning ,i receive email from godaddy that my account is suspendent! So all my websites are down (all my money,all my top ranked seo articles). When i called them ,after 5 minutes of waiting they said is a different department who i must talk ,but they dont have phone number,so i must send them email.

They respond my email after 3 days and said that i violated their terms and is not their responsability for the lost data .


Is there a happy ending that i can do now?
If i rewrite my articles,SEO will be affected?

Any answer is highly apreciated

No I dont have,this is my plan too....i hope the seo will not be affected....what hosting do you recommend now? dreamhost? what if that (i can swear here?) F##### company will email again to new host company ,they can close again with no advertisment and no reason?
 
That really sucks. I guess the thing to do now is one site per host or something - that way it can never happen again in a way that will affect everything.
 
I use chillidoghosting and have found it to be quite reliable and there's good support too.
 
The thing that I am so angry is that I know i was no wrong,they acuse me to sell and promote brand products,but i only post the source where you can find to big sites like aliexpress.
And again there was no comunication,no advertsiment ,nada. Now i try to recover pieces from cached content ,is so painful to see your hard work and time disapear like this
 
i'm using namecheap and they ar good, godaddy is worst registrant company, they don't have monopoly in the web so I can't see any reason why people are choosing them, maybe for cheap prices? never choose cheap price for cost of reliability and quality !
 
You're a fool to do business with them. They are not for marketers.

Anyways, if you have the backup and you have the control over your domains, just move to another hosting and your site will bounce back to the previous rankings within a few days. But if you don't have the control over the domains, assuming that you registered with gofuckingdaddy and they won't give you access to your account, then uploading a backup of your current site to a new domain won't do anything. You won't get ranked. So, get your files, your domains and move to another hosting if you can.
 
Wait they seized all your domain names too? I don't think they can do that. What is the status of your domain names on whois?

( Also, you should have backups, but I guess now you know that. )

The best day of my SEO life was the day when I finally got out of the 60 day Godaddy block on my domains, trying to force me in, and when they tried to withhold one of my domains using their private registration system. When the 60 day thing expired, I got the hell out of there and never looked back.

( At Godaddy if you have a private registration, they can seize your domain unless you can recover it. Private registration means they own the domain and you trust them. )

All of their practices are questionable. Maybe not illegal, but surely they work at the edge, keeping you at a disadvantage at all times.

Anyone doing business with Godaddy is just betting to go through this sort of thing sooner than later.
 
One thing that's really important, that i don't even use myself, but everyone says it: Don't use the same company for Domain Registration & Web Hosting.

I have acces to domains,but i will move everything from them.I dont have acces at hosting,i will get data from google cached ,and hopefully restore to same domain ,my ranked articles maybe dont drop a lot.

At the edge of the edge....Also I am so motivated right now,and i find all my top articles and recover them :)
 
I use AWS but if you want support I'd go with name cheap, they got the best support I've ever dealt with. Even refunded me a domain name I purchased incorrectly. You might want to look at off shore given your content though :-)
 
NameCheap is good as well as Uniregistry $8.88
