It sounds like what I'd be really interested in setting up, but from a price point of view it doesn't seem as appealing as it would need to. For example, say I get a cheap linux server how much is that? I found one for $79.99, but say you could get one half that price for $40 a month, then if I want to set up 100 proxies on it, that would be another $100 per month. I can already just go to a major elite proxy provider that I will blank out mostly "s**********s" and get 100 for $1.60 each with an easily findable discount code pushing that down to $136 per month. I don't have to build or maintain anything, and I've got super fast, super high quality proxies that work well. If the price of IPs was significantly cheaper than $1 anywhere, or if $40 is a massive overestimate for the server, then it might be worth the work. I like the idea in general though, if it was way cheaper than other providers I'd be all over it.
