Network of websites?

Hey All,

One of my biggest competitors has TONS of sites. They have their main site, and their other sites all some what link to this site. Websites are hosted on separate hosts and registered to the website name. ALL of the sites are ecommerce product sites.

Some of their newer sites all link to the same order processing/shopping cart system.

Any idea on how to find ALL of their sites in the network? They rank INSANELY Well. Alexa rank of ~50,000. I know they are beatable their onsite seo is pretty good but not perfect. Would love to brainstorm this with some one.

You could scrape millions of whois records and sort by the fields you know. If they were all hosted on the same server, you could use lots of other tools.

Scraping whois records is definitely not the ideal situation, and there might even be a website/service who can provide the info you're looking for.

Scrape Box has a backlink checker that would do that for you I am pretty sure.

I'd hit up Andreyg13 as he knows more about SB than anyone I know.

Thing is.. websites are hosted on separate servers and the who is are registered to the domain, like a company would.
