Neg Repping Just because shouldent Be allowed!

Don't sweat it, I had someone neg rep me from 11+ to -5 and their reason was "sooooo wrong" to a post that was pretty informative. I didn't make a deal about it, my friends found out and boosted me up out of understanding.

The point here is, friends are more powerful than points. People will respect you always, simply because they base your authority on your contribution and not bragging rights.

Both neg repper their ignoring the post I made minutes after that post when I realized my error of asking for GST giveaway (he had no rules or anything on it so figured it was open to whoever)

So as you can see all but 1 of my neg rep was for nothing. How this could have affected me is unknown, since GST put me back in the positive, but it could have cost me valuable opportunities maybe had I still been in the negative, I purchased MCL and I would recommend it to anyone but my recommendation might go on deaf ears cause of my rep and cost MCL innozo a sale. We never know.

I know plenty of ppl on this forum that have 0 rep and make more then 99% of the people on this forum. Stop focusing on things that don't matter.

I see a pattern here, the people complaining haven't contributed much to the community. They try to make money here, and attain knowledge but don't try to return favors back to the community. You need to realize that respect has to be earned in this world, treat others as you wish to be treated and things will go well for you.

Try to stand out in the community, you won't have to complain in threads like this ever again, I promise.

I treat people how I like to be treated that why you see me never talk bad/down to anyone. Everyone dont know what they dont know.

and if you look at my post history I have contributed to where I can, im not even 60 days into this IM world but where I see I can help someone else I jump on that opportunity to help them. We all here on the same mission to make money.

Rep is important and does matter if you ever want to offer a service on BHW. Very few if any members will want to buy from a member with low or negative rep, so it does matter.

nobody will want to do business with you where trust is involved. No joint ventures, no pre-payment on doing jobs in the WTB or freelancer section, Scammers will find it easier to prey on negative rep members etc etc.

To say that it's nothing is incorrect. To say that it's everything is also incorrect.
A lot of people use the rep system to check out those who they are going to
do business with because so far it's a very accurate system.

They are certainly not everything but they are something.
Don't neg rep someone just because you feel like it.
Neg rep only those who deserve it like scammers or spammers.

So, Neg rep is to keep the forum clean.. I'm not pointing you here.. In general, if one receive neg rep from someone for some reason, then they need to realize their mistake & rectify it to get +ve rep's.

Unfortunately OP's right, there are many JR VIP's who abuse their rep powers.

I can't remember who it was but not long ago, someone was just neg repping people because they found it funny, I can't remember what the troll's username was. The point I am making is some users use their neg rep powers for invalid reasons.

It would make it better if the users name had to be left in the neg rep comment, so that normal members can see who their neg rep is from. That then might stop some JR VIP's leaving random neg rep. A lot of users will disagree with this idea, but if we don't abuse neg rep powers then there is no reason we should be against this idea.

I would have no problem with this.

I haven't been blue for that long, but I haven't neg repped anyone and if I did I would leave a comment in the thread.

I have had several disagreements in threads with people but I don't think someone having a different opinion from me is a valid reason for neg repping them.

I even had one guy sending me abusive PMs, but I kept my discussion to the thread itself and still didn't neg rep him.

I feel better about myself that way.

I fail to understand why people worry about reps atall. Yes, the graphic looks cool, but it doesn't prove anything. We have a lot of members here having 10-10 rep count and they are awesome programmers / SEO guys / IMers. This is my humble request to people, that please stop caring about reps. Do what you are here to do. Just forget that there is something called reps system.

i dont care about rep , but its wrong to neg rep some one without any reason .
