Hi, again.
I have to reboot my journey.
The last journey just seems so ridiculous right now.
It's just posting on forum with a link back to website but
when I want to scale up that's when it gets messy.

Beside, I never want to manage freelancers, make website or do SEO,...
I belong in the back end, writing emails and creating copy.

The Method:
I am going to buy opted in leads from linkedin and then promote to them
clickbank products using email.

Right now I am using Maxbulk + my host smtp server to send email
I registered for a mailjet account but I got the account provision failure.

PS: If any email marketer, copywriter wants to chat and exchange idea
my skipe* is bulk.mailer

Some stuff I learned today about email marketing:
- The Leads market is dominated by Indian brokers. These guys work even
harder than the Japs! (They even work on the weekend)
Some of them are childish as fck though.

- Don't use mailchimp for mailing. They are the shittiest company in the market.
Their inbox rate is horrible and they have a deep rut hatred for affiliate marketer.

- Getresponse will hold your account for 2 days to check for compliance if
you import a list.

- Smtp company like mailjet and smtpserver require domain name
verification.

- The smtp server port for outlook on google is false.
I can't connect using port 587

- Aways save the thread you are about to post on bhw on a txt file

Sup BBW, I couldn't post update yesterday because I can't access BHW.
Keep getting a 403 error.
So, I crafted 2 emails and sent them out to 500 subscribers yesterday.
I added tid to track the conversion rate for long email and short email along with leads vendor name.

There are some funny sht going on here guys.
All the vendors said that the leads I am getting is from the US but
getresponse is showing a lot of them from russia and central Asia.
There is 1 guy whose leads are 100% from Russia.
Something fishy is going on here.

Is getresponse IP location checker trustworthy?

Edit: getresponse just pull data out of there own arse. The list
doesn't have IP field.

I spent the entire afternoon creating getresponse campaign.
Tomorrow I will be mailing to 2558 subscribers.

I will also try my luck with mailchimp.
See how far I could go before getting banned

The first email was a major flop.
over 2500 email send, 10 hops.
Of course there is no sale.
I was kinda sloppy while writing it.

I wrote another email. I will post the result after tonight.

Edit: I've just sent a test email to one of my hotmail account.
Guess what I found?

The link is not clickable, it's just a plain text link.
People will have to copy and paste the link to visit the site.

No wonder I have such a shtty conversion.

Sending message using mailchimp won't work because
they have a system in place called omnivore that automatically detect
if something is wrong.

Looks like today is not my lucky day.

Well, second blast result came back.
Still 0 sale, ZERO, Nada.
The open rate is like less than 10%

You are probably intrigued by email marketing, but simply put - you're doing it wrong. I'm 99% positive that email list you bought is worth same as 1000 yahoo accounts collecting dust on my hard drive.

I also spammed some random 1,5 million "email list" once - made 2 sales for weight loss program...
