Hello,
I would like to clear things up here seeing as there is a misconception of what really happened. If you want the short version, the OP has been refunded and clearly explained over our support system what the situation was, you don't need to read further.
If you want the long version of what truly happened, here it goes:
1- You were getting an error from your software going out of memory, and I believe it's ok to say it was GSA having some issues.
2- You have upgraded your plan with us, and left a PayPal subscription open from an older plan.
3- We have been very courteous over the support system, and never rude. I should know, I answered your tickets myself and worked on your issue myself. This is why I'm replying to this thread. If I ever came out as rude I apologize, that was never my intention.
We have been working with GSA customers for years now, and there is one thing anybody running GSA for longer than 3 months will be able to tell you: this is a buggy software which is always under development. That is not a knock on GSA, it's the truth of what we deal with on a daily basis with new GSA users. Please note that no matter where you host your software if it's going to be buggy, it will be so even if you run it from your own PC. We have explained to you in details what the issue was, and I don't believe we need to go into detail about that.
Regarding your upgrade situation, you were upgraded. I did it myself, and I can attest to that. The PayPal subscription was for SSD Two and not for SSD Three because that's what you had originally. You were supposed to cancel your subscription with PayPal, and make a new one when your next invoice was due. I did mention this in my reply to your billing query. PayPal does not allow the changing of subscriptions. You cannot upgrade/downgrade a PayPal subscription, you can only cancel it or suspend it. This is why you saw on your PayPal a debit for a SSD Two, it was a subscription you had originally setup. This has been refunded. I have also advised you to cancel this so you don't send any subscription payments in the future.
Regarding you losing any GSA data I can attest to this as well, I have warned you before the upgrade or any maintenance to save your work and close any software which might be running because I needed to reboot your server at least twice for the maintenance. I wish you the best of luck finding another provider and I am sorry that we could not meet your expectations. However, I believe that debugging GSA is not something any host can provide. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying, we are not in business to lie to people. We will tell you the truth and how things work as we know this market and we know that we take care of our customers to the best of our abilities. If you'd like to continue with us I would be happy to assist you. You can reply to your ticket and we can work something out. Please note that even after refunding you I have still given you over 48 hours to download any data you might have in your server. No other hosting provider will care to do that.
Thank you for considering Power Up Hosting.
