Need to make $20 a day ASAP

Hello. I'm having a ton of difficulties at the moment. I recently lost my job, and I'm not going to be able to pay my rent next month at this rate, meaning I'm going to get evicted and thus be homeless. I don't have anyone I can borrow money off of, nothing to pawn. I'm very very stressed out.

I've tried internet marketing in the past but didn't have a lot of luck. I ran a blogspot blog about tips for dealing with depression, and got it to 2nd place for the keyword "escape depression," but all I made was 32 cents. I don't know if $20 is even possible in such a short time, but I don't know what else to do. I'm very computer savvy, and I'm able to design and create webpages. I'm also a musician and have been playing guitar/singing for about 10 years, so I've been thinking about trying to busk, but I know that isn't a very reliable option. I graduated university with a 3.55 GPA and a Liberal Arts diploma last year, and I'm a fairly good writer. My English teacher suggested I should send my short stories in for publication.

I have scrapebox and know how to use it, but that's about the only tool I have. I've done a lot of reading here on BHW but it's so overwhelming, I just don't know what to try or what would work best. Is this even a realistic goal? I've sent out a ton of job applications but I live in a small town and there's barely any work available.

Thanks for reading, any suggestions you guys have I would love to hear.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm also a member of a CPA website. I have a feeling that might be the best option.

Your problem is: You don't think about taking a smart, steady, and consistent action. Think about it... Nah, Do it (Take Action...)!

The quickest way I'd say you'd be able to make money is by being creative with the skill-set you currently have. I'd look into maybe writing articles. At 4 articles a day you'd make $20 ( if you were to price your 500 word articles for $5)

If you're desperate, you need to go look for a job. Most affiliate companies aren't going to send you a check for todays earnings. If you earn money this month, you'll probably get a check at the end of next month. Even earning $20/day means you'll get paid in 30-60 days.

A job will pay you weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

IM wont make $20 fast for you, because you are newbie, but it is possible.

Your best option would be to get a job till you get all life shits done and pay for rent and then come back to IM

Offer scrapebox blasts of fiverr. Blast sites that do not have autoapprove on with a link to your fiverr gig. When webmasters check the link, They'll see your gig.

OK. First off. Stop reading this forum and others like it. It is a black hole for your time. You need to pick something and get working.

My idea:
Get a phonebook, and look up lawyers, doctors, contractors, etc... and see who's advertising, then google them. If there's no webpage, you send them your brochure(you got it from Fiverr for $5) The brochure will point them to your professional website where they will see what a great designer you are, and how you can earn them money by making them a professional website. Charge them $500 -1200 plus a monthly hosting fee. Cheaper for restaurants and the like.

Or, use Google keyword tool to find keywords like "London Doctors" and look for exact match domains to buy. Then buy the domain, rank it first page and then work to sell that domain to London Doctors for more than $1500. At that point all London Doctors would be prospective clients. Seriously dude, this works. I do it. I've made money doing it. It doesn't take long to do. Brings in serious cash quickly. You can even scale it up by outsourcing the design to cheap labor. Twist my idea and upcharge for Google Places listings.

Which city are you from? Can you do offline marketing, -- meeting owners, promoting and selling? Then you can possibly make more than what you need... but you don't seem to be an action-taker.

But, I think the situation can change you for better! So, is marketing flowing in your blood but you don't still know that it exists? Or do you want to do production work only (online writing, CPA, web designs, etc.)

This is to find out what you can do immediately...

You need to sit down and think of what you really want to do, is it IM, music or get another job. If it's IM you need to dedicate a good time of your life to studying and researching as well as application. Fiverr is a good place to start, find what works and sells and how to promote it freely using forums and the likes. Want to do music, get into the studio, have a role model and start somewhere. If it's seeking for job move elsewhere if your town is too small. The world is too big for you to limit yourself. Good luck.

Go to yellowpages.com
1) search for any business, make a list of 100 business with number or email id, who dont have a website,
2) Cold call them, or email them with nice offer of web design .
Offer them which they cant get any where else,

Suppose u charge them min $30 in that $30 you will be giving 1 year hosting+ 5 page web design, + domain you can give with a offer of $40. SO that will be very attractive price which will surely get a order,

Read some of the thread from the results above. Look for the published dates, if the dates are too much in the past, then probably the methods would be long dead by now.

See what you can possible try, and please, Take Action. Use your own twists, think what would bring success, try again and again. If you try, then only you can bring in some money (or a lot more of it).

I can see why you guys don't think I'm an action taker, I had a steady income and suddenly I don't, so I'm lost. I've tried selling scrapebox blats on fiverr but didn't get a single taker. I tried adsense blogs, and got my site on page 1 but didn't make a single dollar. I've been sending out resume after resume but haven't had any luck so far. That's why I'm asking for ideas. Another job is what I need but if that doesn't work out right away I need something to fall back on.

Not much you're going to do to make much bank quickly other than selling sites. Adsense is going to take awhile. Even at a 10%ctr. One website sale can net you over $400 in a couple days. But don't wait to try it until you needs funds. Do it now while you're still in the clear.

I was being sarcastic, as I posted the idea first. Why would you sell a 5 page site for $30? Why would you include hosting when you can upsell it? Why would you offer up separate Cpanel when you can charge them for changes? dumb.

Please remember that there is no need to sell at such cheap prices. The average business owner isn't all BHW savvy and doesn't have the advantage of having cheap at their fingertips like we do. Do what you want, but I'll sell nice sites for $500 and you can go sell the same site for $30 and I"ll make more money all day long. Think a customer will pick cheap? no way. they'll just think you're going to "hit and run" them. And if they do pick cheap, then that's not the customer you're looking for anyways. No offense man, just telling it like it is.
