Need to increase the amount of my WordPress plugin active installations

Hey BHW,

I am a WordPress developer offering a plugin on the WordPress plugin repository. I am trying to increase the number of active installs.

Does anybody know a way to increase installs? I am not too bothered if they are genuine users.

I think the install counts towards a clean install of wordpress. Theoretically, you need to constantly clean and install wordpress again. However, antifraud can remember the IP address of the server or domains. Haven't seen anyone do that.

Thanks this is really insightful. Any idea of hosts that allow you to change your IP on a server?

Yes, it has a premium version.

I don’t know, the idea could be with a local server on your computer and including vpn, for example, wordpress will see a different IP. But not very familiar with such details. Need a server specialist
