So I was browsing without any particular motive, skimming through a viral blog & I find an article - some wannabe fashion enthusiast shared her experience with a product. I thought of it as a niche first but I guess an Amazon aff. site would be better?
I think this can be huge because the article is going viral & a fashion YouTuber did a video recently which is going viral too. Something like a trend that could spread like viral among US women (this was pretty much unknown till now or very little exposure)
I searched the main keyword on Google, intitle: "main keyword" - No results. 34 results without quotes out of which 3 are related.
The top 10 results (normal search) are:
- That viral article
- 3x Amazon.com links (2 related - 1 somewhat unrelated)
- The viral video
- An article that basically just links to that viral video.
- An article from 2015 which was written on the same topic (This didn't went viral then, but I see people are digging up the post now & there are many comments that has been posted last month - ie March 2017)
- 3 articles written in 2015 - not viral, no comments or interaction here.
The exact match domain (.com) is still available.
My problems are:
- Will it be too difficult to outrank the viral sites? They are pretty famous ones.
- One of the sites already has Amazon Buy Now links, but strangely enough these are not referral links.
- Price of the products are around $10 - is it too low to consider?
- Considering this is a beauty product (that runs out) women might buy it again but they won't follow my link & buy from Amazon directly because that's normal.
What would you do?
Some of this might sound noob as I'm not really into Amazon niche aff. & this would be my first. I was pretty much always into content writing & learning SEO for the past few months after joining here.
Thanks for all inputs guys!
