    New to this place...

But here goes nothing. Idk if Im doing this the right way but I was reading the forums, and I'm dying to learn how everyone makes money. Ive tried a couple things online, but everything for the most part was physical real life ventures.
I seem like i can't make a dime anywhere. People dont want to give me the time or the money to start something, considering Im only 17, which seems to be my big weakness, but none the less I DONT consider it a setback. I try to keep my hopes up, expand my knowledge, and hustle. But enough with the pity, Im curious on learning about CL campaigns, seo, and basically anything that can help me see some money.

Ive looked all over online and it seems as if CL campaigns is where people make a ton of cash. I'm not looking for someone to hand me money, I want to EARN it. I also not looking for the get rich quick schemes, (wud be nice if possible tho) Im not afraid to work. I'm just tired of coming up empty handed.

Hope someone can help me out.

    -Thanks

    -Anthony (Miami, FL)

Dude, check out the Making Money sub-forum and try out some methods. MOST methods people post DO WORK. You just need to apply yourself and start doing the dirty work and make money.

I make over $30 a day with Adsense but It took me over a year to do it. Some income every month but its better than nothing.

Check out the downloads section as well. Always good useful stuff in there.

Do you know how to code? Do you want more of a job or do you want a high risk/potentially high reward scenario?

I am older than you but in the same boat...still new to this. I'd recommend finding something you can do of value, ie; writing articles. get up some cash this way and then put that cash towards your goals. I'd also spend a few hours a day reading this forum (go to each section and sort by number of posts...read those first) at first, while you make some cash.

damn you guys are fast to respond. lol

NTG98 - looking for the high risk scenarios. I dont mind putting in the work, and not seeing profit for a while. But I dont want to bust my butt*** for .20 on adsense. I mean I have several parked domains.

I understand these things dont come easy, but im willing to put in work.

I have a textbroker level 4 account if I ever need a quick $20 but I am the same way. Unfortunately, being in college, my SEO grand schemes often go on hiatus, but I'm working slowly but surely. I've been trying to code my own masterpiece tools, but I know nothing of CL. I don't want to commit any sort of fraud, so that kind of limits my options. If you have any leads on schemes, I'd be glad to help you work through them as far as automation goes. That's what I am good at.

Really confused as to how your age is somehow hindering your progress? Age means nothing. You've already got a defeatist attitude, and instead of learning from your mistakes you're moping around saying "its all really bad I'm only 17 thats why it fails!"

Uh, no. No one cares about your age unless you make it obvious. If you're doing stuff offline are you telling them your age? I should hope not. So just don't tell them. Do you look young? Then dress up! Dress like a professional. Hitting 18 won't suddenly change anything. If anything it just means more taxes.

I'm not much older than you but I give off the appearance of being older. If I didn't dress up I'd look like 15 no joke. No one would take me seriously. I don't let them know my age. Do the same, fuck.

In fact whats most likely is that either your product you were offering sucked, or you presented it unprofessionally or you are just advertising to the wrong people. But no it is your age isn't it.

Man, I just don't understand....well maybe I do. Your 17 so your don't want to work to make money you want me to give it to you. To all you hard working 17 year olds, please disregard, just trying to make a point.

If you would spend some time reading, you could learn a lot on your own. Also if you start to learn and contribute, someone may ask if they can help you instead of you asking them after you basically told them, I have nothing, I do nothing, so gimme what you have.

Just not cool. Okay, I need to take a deep breath. What I am trying to get out in my rant is spend more time reading and less time complaining. When you read something you don't understand, ask the OP...(since your new .. original poster) most of the time they will be glad to explain.

You will find an area you are interested in and you may find someone interested in helping you once they realize you both have the same interests.

Once you have read a few things developed a skill or some knowledge, TAKE ACTION...please understand I am not telling you to spend years as some reading this or any forum.

You don't need to lash back out at me either, I am only trying to tell you what 90% of the others are thinking when they read posts similar to yours.

I really do wish you a lot of success!

Okayy... Let me clarify some things.. I dont want ANYTHING handed to me. I have done and tried several OFFLINE, physical, real life businesses. Believe it or not no make matter how dressed up u are, face to face, its not easy getting money from an investor, at any age, none the less at 17. I never come out and say my age, but its always asked of me. Ive busted my a sswith several ventures, but they came out sour. I understand thats part of the game, and am not complaining. I figured id come here to see if someone can POINT me to the right direction, and help me get started. Ive read alot, books, articles, fourms, and recently just started a couple things. I have trying to find MORE ways of making money. What type of business are you if you just settle? I got a lil something going on, and now i want to expand, so i ask questions. :O questions?!?! yes........ questions. LMK if im at the wrong place, and we can put this to sleep, but im here to learn, ask questions, and find opportunity...........

Ive seen alot of close relatives comes up from nothing to having it all, they told me the same thing, go out, hustle, learn from other, and ASK questions. If you dont understand something. ask.

Offline is IMHO where the real fun is. For that, you need to get your look and appearance down. I don't know what investors you are meaning; what sort of ventures are you going for?

Firstly, research your body type. Next, research and find a nice professional suit that is a good cut. Some male makeup might be in order here to help give you the appearance of being older; google that. Get a brief case. Learn how to do your hair right. Look older. Again remove all of my fancy clothes and makeup and I look 15. But no one asks for my age because when I am wearing it all I clearly look like I am in my 20's.

Also, have you ever considered just lying about your age? Remove ways they can actually find out; remove it from social networking platforms. Then go out there and get those clients.

    your Age doesn't matter...

I am 14.. Even though I am Still learning.. So if you keep focusing on I am younger then everyone else (When your not there are 12 year old kids trying to learn this) Don't take that Step..

The first thing before you do anything is study! you would never take a Test without studying and pass it

Then act apply what you learned from studying and cross your fingers :)

Study is absolutely important... as long as you put it into action!

Honestly, as I said, I think the real opportunities lie offline. But its true; you can't hide behind a mask offline can you? Because they can see who you are. So you need to present yourself well first and foremost. Its a skill that probably doesn't come naturally to a lot of Black Hatters, they fail and they get discouraged. Well, don't let that stop you :) It is not the fault of your age it IS the fault of presenting yourself.

If you buy alcohol and look a legal age, they don't ask for ID/age do they? They only do so if they are suspicious. So don't let them be suspicious. Appearance is everything offline, it is even more important than providing good services.

I believe you contradicted yourself in this statement. You say your not looking for get rich quick schemes, but implied in your next statement that you would be open if they existed (hence canceling out your original statement and revealing your true intentions.)

We get that your not afraid of work, most people who are new to Internet marketing are not afraid of work either. What they are afraid of, however, is the time it would take to see success from there efforts.

One of the reasons guys like you want to get into internet marketing is because you think it will be a break from the brick and mortor hard work that happens in the offline world. What you quickly find out is that is not the case.

What you are asking for, essentially, is a short cut. Correct?

You are going through the process. Stop looking for shortcuts!

Let me tell you something: DO NOT BELIEVE THE CLAIMS OF WHAT MOST PEOPLE HERE SAY THEY MAKE AND THE TIME FRAME THEY MADE IT AT FACE VALUE!! UNLESS YOU MEET THEM YOURSELF, SEE THERE BANK STATEMENT YOURSELF, AND MAKE SURE THEY ACTUALLY COME FROM PP OR VARIOUS OTHER INTERNET AFF. COMPANY'S!!

You don't know them from JACK....so you don't know if what they say is true or not. ANYONE can tell you ANYTHING on this forum, and since they don't know you, there are no consequences of humiliation on there part. So they can play out a fantasy, and because you WANT to believe, you'll take the bait hook line an sinker. Check the shitlist for evidence of this!

Most of the REALLY successful people in internet marketing worked REALLY, REALLY hard and spent ALOT of time researching and testing.

Everything has its pros and cons. Whether you do ebay, CL , FB, Google search or anything else, you'll still deal with pro'c and cons, you can't get away from that.

What you are going through is normal. But you've discovered a often less talked about truth:

INTERNET MARKETING IS HARDER THEN IT SEEMS, AND TAKES JUST AS MUCH TIME TO MASTER AS ANY OTHER CAREER IN LIFE!!!

    Yes, thats the truth.

Be honest with yourself, you thought this was gonna be easier when you started, huh? Thats why your confused or frustrated.

Noone worth there cow is gonna tell you how to compete with them. This is something your gonna have to take to time to figure out yourself bro.

In closing, I wish you luck. But this is the REAL WORLD of internet marketing. NOT the BS you've been fed on about how "easy" and "simple" it is.

Remember: if it makes money (REAL MONEY), its NEVER.....as simple as it seems.

    Good Luck!

Yeah, there are no rich quick schemes because what people fail to take into account is that we're dealing with humans here. Lets say you make a website and get it ranking for a good keyword. It means nothing if that traffic doesn't convert! And that all comes down to an intuitive understanding of markets and human nature. Unless you go on a massive spam attack spree.
