I'm new to BHW, but not new to the IM world. I first experimented back in 2004 trying to sell Water fountains on eBay. What a joke that was. I gave up on IM after that (or, I should say, I put it on hold), when I started focusing on my local IT business. Now that I'm completely burned out with going to clients to fix their stupid dumb monkey stuff, I'm back in the IM world, searching for a way for me to make money on auto pilot like a lot of us beginners dream of.
I have been religiously reading every thread that peaks my interest every single day for the past few weeks now and I have learned soo much in this short time being a member of this great forum. My best advice for you, in your journey to make money online, is to just read read read. Unplug the cable box, tell the spouse/partner/girlfriend/boyfriend/whatever to take a hike, order in pizza that will last you a whole week, close the shutters, close the door, and just DIVE IN. There is a tremendous treasure trove of knowledge accumulated in this forum and the only way you're going to even begin to get started in IM is to read like you have never read before.
This is precisely what I am doing. I was overwhelmed like crazy with all the various money making methods I have read about here in BHW and so far I have invested about $1500 of my own savings in various websites, tools, and services because you really do have to TAKE ACTION too.
So if you're looking for a blueprint, here's the best one I can give you:
1. READ READ READ
2. Find something that REALLY interests you. Auto blogging? ClickBank? AdSense? Squidoo pages? Making sites, flipping them? And then FOCUS on that ONE thing until you monetize it and get your initial investment back and then some.
3. TAKE ACTION. Once you find something that you're interested in trying, don't sit around wasting more hours of your day thinking about this one method that has grabbed your attention. Get Creative & Just Do It. Take Action and Try. Trial and error is the only way because you will likely fail and you will make mistakes but the most valuable things you will learn will be from your mistakes and with patience, perseverance, and intense focus you will most certainly be successful, no question about it.
Now, to sell my 4 raptors that I had in a RAID for a quick and easy $500 on eBay...
Best of luck to you fellow IM'er.
