Need Knowledgable Advice

This is basically my 1st course of IM action. I bought a landing page selling a free trial just pay shipping deal. I've posted a couple CL ads while I'm trying to see which format sends more traffic. Here's my #'s

I know I'm still fairly new, but it seems to me that my ctr is great, so my landing page is doing the job, but my conversion rate looks like shit, so I guess it's a crap offer? Are these numbers normal or do I need to find a new product to promote?

Your numbers seem good you have a really good clickthru rate, your sales are down but I don't think that is entirely your fault. When dealing with posting on craigslist no offense please to the users of craigslist. It is iffy traffic for sales, many of the people looking on craigslist are idiots, ex. have you ever sold anything personal on craigslist like a car or furniture? If so you know exactly what I mean. The other fault would be the merchant if they can't convert your clickthru you might want to check out there site and see if similar products can be provided by another merchant with a better site.

The secret is testing. Test your ads, landing page, offer, test everything. If you get a decent script you could rotate landing pages and offers to test one against the other. I would never throw anything away until I had thoroughly tested it.

I agree with Choronzon

Much the same way adwords allows you to create different variations of the same ad to work out how which converts best. You should be doing this with your offers too.

Put a small box/banner on your page which reads 'Today only! have access without paying even for shipping' or something better and link it to your trailpay account.

Changes will occur IMHO.
