Hi everyone,

I’m facing a few challenges with a client’s website and could use some expert insights:

  1. Ranking for Brand Term "https://superyou.in/" – Despite extensive efforts, including PR and backlinking, the website is still not ranking for the brand term SuperYou. What additional steps should we take?
  2. 404 Pages Getting Picked Up by Google – We’ve noticed that 404 pages are being automatically created. Any suggestions on identifying and resolving this issue effectively?

  3. Indexation Drop – Previously, 9 pages were indexed, but now only 4 are appearing. What could be causing this drop, and how can we fix it?

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Your website's homepage is already indexed in Google, so there’s no need to worry. Proper optimization will help improve its ranking for the brand term.
  • Include brand name in the title tag, meta description, H1, and content naturally.
  • Ensure proper internal linking using “SuperYou” as anchor text.
  • Acquiring links from guest posts, PR, and authority sites by mentioning brand name anchors.
  • Submit "SuperYou" to high-authority local directories and business listings.
404 - Check your WordPress plugins to see if any are auto-generating 404 links and fix the issue.

how long it’s been since the website went online? Sometimes it’s just about being patient.

and I see some other “superyou” brands on SERPs so there is competition which requires even more time to take over the #1 spot

‘SuperYou’ might be a little too generic. Also, try sharing links to your site on social media like Twitter or LinkedIn. It could help Google pay more attention to your brand.

ensure the website has proper on-page SEO, including meta tags, structured data, and internal linking with the brand name. For the 404 issue, check for broken links, improper redirects, or CMS-generated errors, and set up proper 301 redirects where needed. The indexation drop could be due to crawlability issues, Google updates, or accidental noindex tags—review Search Console for any warnings and request reindexing if necessary.

If the site isn’t ranking for the brand name, check GSC for indexing issues and avoid duplicates. 404 pages might be auto-generated – check the logs and remove unnecessary ones. Indexing drop? Google might have deindexed pages due to low quality or sitemap changes, try Request Indexing in GSC

Investigate in GCS for any error. Submit sitemap. You will get the reason for other pages not being indexed. You should have many pages indexed.

Amazon and Zepto is ranking for your keyword but you should be able to outrank them.
