The first domain is mine and I'm just curious more than anything about value, second one is one I'm considering attempting to get.
First one is reefsource. com, it was used before for niche specific purposes briefly. 23 referring domains and about 300 backlinks, all normal niche related except a couple weird ones, but those aren't spammy or bad, just odd. Can't remember how to check but domain is roughly 18 years old, maybe 22. Somewhere around there. Still trying to decide if I'm going to use it or not but because I needed to ask about this other domain I was curious about this one.
Second one I am unfortunately not going to say because it is currently an active site. Name is a .com and 7 letters long, easy to remember and brandable. Info according to semrush: 138 referring domains, 548k backlinks (the vast vast majority from a niche specific forum), authority score now is 19 and says it was 48 under the old formula, currently ranking for 1.3k keywords (5 in the top 3 and 99 in the top 10), Currently getting a little over 500 organic traffic a month, was around 1200 last year but it's been steadily dropping.
I feel like the owner stopped trying. Their social media stopped posting last year as well. They do not sell anything and there are no ads, so no monthly profit to factor in. Think community hub for this niche but not a forum. I'm trying to figure out a rough idea of what to offer for it, however, it isn't the end of the world if I don't get it, it would just work into a pet project of mine.
