Need help with Facebook ads?

In some cases ads can take longer than a few hours to start delivering, especially on newer accounts or campaigns.

Check ad status (very important)
Check payment methods
Budget too low or targeting too narrow
Minor policy violations but not yet rejected

If you've waited long enough, create a new campaign, change the content, change the page, change the account tags, and you might also consider switching to a completely new account.

Your ad is still under review after 5-6 hours, possibly due to limited markup, saturated content, or payment verification requirements. Your suggestion is vague and requires more specific information about your ad's status, but here are a few possible reasons.

That’s normal sometimes. Check ad status, billing, and review queue approvals can take 24 hours. If everything looks fine, just give it a bit more time.

If your ad complies with all normal policies, it will be active within 5 minutes to 2 hours. Ads that violate policies will require longer review time, possibly up to 1 day.

That’s normal. Most ad platforms need 12–24 hours to review and optimize. Check for pending review, billing issues, or audience size problems. Don’t edit too much early—frequent changes can reset learning. If it’s still inactive after 24 hours, contact support or duplicate the campaign.

You delete the old campaign and create 2 new campaigns. 1 bait campaign and 1 main campaign. Change to different creatives from the old campaign and run the bait campaign with a low budget. When the bait campaign has spent, you turn on your main campaign and it's done.

Some ads on BH are experiencing approval restrictions, resulting in delays of 5-6 hours before they become active, possibly due to account or landing page issues; more specific images are needed.

I've also encountered a few cases where black hat advertising campaigns took up to a day to launch, but white hat campaigns didn't have this problem. Some limitations due to the content of the advertising campaign cause this delay; try changing the content and trying again.

It's quite common for your ad not to show up after 5-6 hours, please wait a little longer.

Don't try to keep that ad; you should cancel it and create a new one. If that still doesn't work, it's best to switch accounts.

First, check the current status of the campaign (processing, in review, active, etc.). Also review any notifications related to payments or messages from Meta.
If the issue isn’t clear, it helps to describe the problem in detail or share a screenshot, so others can better understand the situation and give more accurate advice.

That’s normal—new ads can take 12–24 hours to start delivering while they’re reviewed and learning
