Note: I am very much a beginner and this is my very first attempt to something like this! Don’t give me crap about all the things I’ve done wrong, but give me constructive critism to improve my current situation or for the future when I do this again.

I started my website about a week ago and have made some good progress(if you count from no content to some content) I have a decent amount of products, collections, and am starting a blog with one article posted so far.

I’ve ran $5 budget on conversion ad and $5 on a ppe ad on Facebook.

All this but absolutely no sales, barely any sessions, no carts, I got like 15 clicks for 500 impressions on Facebook. It’s just all not working and I’m losing hope on both my abilities to be able to do this, and my niche.

I’m not sure if it’s the ads, the site, or both. (Probably both. Again, first time doing any of this)

Here’s the domain if you want to check the on-site things:
Kidmain.com

Thanks in advance to all who read and support me in this!

Update-
Moving site to Woo commerce (wordpress) due to more customization, cheaper, etc. etc. etc.

What about loading time on Woocommerce?

5$ ads for real??? Its much better ways to spend this money

1. Your email exit pop up is wonky on phones, slow and makes me wanna close the website. So change that.
2. Don't off discount just for visiting the site. Instead offer discount for subscribing.
3. No urgency on product page.
4. Don't slap 6.99 shipping right at the end. You show a dog tag for $5 , then suddenly the customer sees it jump to 12, 9 Outta 10 times they would bolt. I understand that you need to cover your margins, so add shipping to the price you advertise in FB,that way only people who think 12 bucks for a dogtag is okay will hit your store.
5. I see you promoting copywrite products like harry potter etc, be careful, you could be sued.
6. Some collections on the home page are showing up without cover image, overall unprofessional impression.
Shopify gives you 14 day free trial, should be more than enough time to build a good website before I start inviting people to it. Website design is in your hands don't screw that up. Control atleast that variable as FB will take time to master.

Ok so the targeting is always number 1. problem. You have to match your product up with the audience that will buy it. In my experience, I have had stores I spent 3-5 hours on, then $10 on adspend and make $1,000 in less than 48 hours. This was from targeting my man. You can easily get 5-10 sales a day if your targeting is correct with $5 a day ads.

And I am serious. You can make your site as nice as you want to but it comes down to targetting.. One of my students from when I mentored people made $5k in a week from one of the WORSE stores I had ever seen. Its all from targeting.

PS. I dont mentor anymore so pls dont PM me asking

Buddy, if you spent only under $100 with technically zero testing, don’t be surprised that you haven’t got any sale. In these days you will need to spend several hundreds of $ ontesting so you can find working ad set, ad and product.
