Greetings Folks,

I have registered a LLC back in 2012/13 and had a registered agent in Delaware do it for me(For a fees ofcourse). We had the LLC and Bank Account working for more than 1.5 years. After a scuffle with my partner, i had to close down my operations and now from the last 2 months i am struggling getting back my US Bank account to work. And the agent via which i opened the bank account isn't responding to my emails, maybe they aren't in-operating anymore. I need serious help in getting a US Bank account for my LLC. I am ready to offer some good bucks for opening the account and also would offer some percentage from my sales daily so that the person gets paid for their work, as i receive checks regularly from my customers. People who can redirect me to any company who offer such services, please go ahead and help me out!

Why not file with a bank online yourself? If you have all the legal documents that you are a real company you can open a business bank account online with banks like Bank of America, and so on.

Why don’t you fly to the US and open a account yourself?

Alternatively, perhaps look into opening a Payoneer account for your LLC or for yourself personally? Even if you don't live in the US, you can get a US bank account once you register and verify on Payoneer. That is how I have my US bank account, although I am not using it at the moment. Hope things get sorted out for you soon!

Hi Merkules,

I am not sure where you are located. We are in Canada and had a very hard time finding a US bank that would open an account for a Canadian merchant client with a USA LLC. After getting the run around or outright rejection from many banks, we finally found a bank that would open the account for the Canadian client. The bank is: U.S. Bank, Seattle Tower, 1420 Fifth Avenue, Seattle. I am sure they must have other branch locations. You do have to fly to the bank and meet in person to open the account - we chose Seattle because it was closest to where the client was located. Good Luck!

Thanks all for your valuable input. The thing is flying down to US and opening a bank account would cost me thousands of dollars. I did my research and there are some companies that open a bank account for non-residents and they charge around $1,000.
Isn't it simple, i find someone else in United States to help me open an account and i pay him the money(obviously not $1,000 for account opening, maybe half of that) and also whatever work he does for my LLC or Bank Related stuff, i'd pay him some percentage of my daily sales, that i receive in my account. JUst looking for economical and less hectic work.

I am not a resident that i can just open a bank account online or over the phone. For non-residents, it seems to be very tough now, other than visiting US, which would cost me a lot of money.

I think whether or not you use outside agencies or pay someone a percentage of sales is something only you can decide based on personal preference and risk tolerance. For me personally, I would never want to get into some sticky situation where I have some kind of side deal paying someone a percentage of sales to front me a bank account, but that is personal choice. If it was me, I would do this myself, openly and honestly, without any third parties. However, this is really your own choice.

You cannot offer this; " I am ready to offer some good bucks for opening the account and also would offer some percentage from my sales daily so that the person gets paid for their work, as i receive checks regularly from my customers".

Anyone found trying to offer a paid solution/jv type reply will feel my wrath.

You can post a HAF thread if you want someone who is an upgraded member to work on this for you.

I understand the point, but as being struggling for over 2 months now, asking people around is the last resort. I never want that option for myself, but then what options are left for me?

My apologies. Won't mentions that again, anywhere!

Hi again Merkules,

The option I would recommend is at least take another few weeks to contact banks that people on this forum recommend, gauge each response, and if you find a bank that will provide the account on the basis that you fly for a meeting in person, do the flight and the meeting in person. It might cost you more up front, but you will have set the bank account up openly and properly, and you will leave yourself less vulnerable than if you have sketchy third parties do this for you or get into some kind of arrangement with a front person which could later result in your account being closed.

You can call this guys https://www.usa-corporate.com/blog/llcs-or-corporations-which-is-better-for-non-residents/ (I have nothing to do with them). They may find a good solution for your case.
Spoke with them. They also want me to come down to USA and sign papers. It would cost me $2,000 for air tickets and then the stay at hotel and other expenses. Visa Fees. Lot of money & time. It's convenient for me to get it open from here and that too with spending less money.
