Hi All,

I manage to snag a 4 week contract for lead generation (name and email).

Scenario:
A private school wants to promote its new course in Auckland, New Zealand

What i have done so far:
Potential students are driven to a squeeze page and hopefully will drop of their name and email (in exchange for a pdf of some kind)
Traffic is sent via a facebook fanpage (i am buying a targeted NZ likes package), and a Adwords and Bing PPC campaign.

Can anybody poke some holes at my strategy..or make some suggestions to improve it....please bear in mind that its for targeted traffic from anywhere in New Zeland only and only for 4 weeks..

What do u think of implementing facebook ads? or a twitter campaign?

Thanks in advance all...

I would highly suggest running Facebook ads for this as you can directly target your demographic based on age and a whole ton of other factors.

You might also want to consider using a tool like Unbounce to vary your landing pages as you're running a short campaign. Split test for a week, find out what the top converting page designs or layouts are, and run with those until the end of the campaign.

Agree with the above poster - Your biggest hole is the fanpage part. The likes you're buying are going to be fake, almost 100% of the time.

Use Facebook ads, use Google AdWords, use Bing. Also, don't forget parents. If it's a pricey private school, getting the parent on board could be an important part of your strategy. I don't know which works better, but it's at least worth a small test.
