I don't know what to do to make it stop. For the last two years I've been the victim of stalking, harassment, defamation, etc. via proxy email, fake snapchat accounts, and globfone texts/calls.
The person has contacted employers of my friends which have resulted in multiple work and HR problems. They've sent messages attempting to ruin relationships, telling my friends to kill themselves, and trying to isolate me from reaching out for help.
I've never received a reason for any of this stalking aside from "knocking me down a few notches". It's beginning to be too much for me and those around me. The police say there isn't much they can do unless there's an imminent threat to my safety or some type of monetary issue. I just want to know who is behind all of this so I can make it stop. I've exhausted my options and can't move forward in life with the fear that this person will not end their stalking.
This may not be the place for solutions, but at this point I'm desperate and would like advice as to where I can seek any kind of help. I'm a recent college graduate and I feel that this situation harms any type of employment I may find in the future.
