Hey everyone, I recently started doing search arbitrage, but I’ve already run into some issues and would really appreciate your thoughts.

My main problem is that I can’t maintain a low CPA when I try to scale.

What I’m doing:

I launch test campaigns — let’s take France as an example.

Test budget: $10–15 per campaign.

On the first day, the campaign usually runs at around -5% to +5% ROI. When it goes into profit, I increase the budget. But after that, I start getting more clicks, while on the landing page users don’t click on the keywords as actively anymore.

What could be my mistake? Can someone explain the proper way to launch campaigns and when to scale them?

Thanks a lot in advance for your feedback!

When you test with $10–15/day, the traffic you get is usually the highest quality slice of the inventory (best placements, best users, cheapest clicks). As soon as you raise the budget, the network starts sending you:

I would suggest you test with other ads platforms too to see the results you get

It sounds like you're doing a good job of testing campaigns, but when engagement drops after scaling, it usually suggests that the audience or ad placement might not fit the creative as well at bigger volumes. Pay attention to which keywords convert the best, and think about making your landing page better to keep users interested. Sometimes making modest changes to your style or messaging might keep your CPA the same even when traffic goes up.

Likely audience fatigue or algorithm reset, scale gradually, test new creatives, optimize landing page clicks, monitor frequency and placements.

Looks like you scale too fast man, test longer with small budget watch CTR drop first, also try fresh creatives when engagement drops, don’t just increase spend

So, as I understand it, it makes sense to hold on to the campaign for 2-3 days until it optimizes itself?
