Hey BHers!
I am sick of using keyword tool from G. Need something professional.
The reality is many of the Keyword Tools use a Google API and only crunch the same numbers you see in GWT using their predefined criteria. For example, if you are using Traffic Travis, Market Samurai and Micro Niche Finder, those tools pull their primary data from the Google database VIA an API.
Other tools use the Yahoo API.
Still others use a SEMRush API.
The point being, any time you hear someone boasting about the best Keyword tool, just ask them, "Where is that tool extrapolating its data from?" Because essentially all they are doing is taking the data from that particular database(s), [Google, Yahoo, Bing, MajesticSEO, etc.] and using their computer generated mathematical equations to render a subjective assessment about the targeted keyword.
For example, take a look at the Keyword Tool called Jaxxy:

It is one of the lesser known Keyword Tools, however affiliates SWEAR that it is the best tool on the market. But once you go under the hood, you quickly learn that they use a Google API combined with their own
RED LIGHT versus
GREEN LIGHT algorithms. We see these same types of red light green light algorithms in most keyword tools.
You need to grasp the point that their assessment is subjective and NOT scientifically incontrovertible. Meaning, just because they assert you should not target that keyword, or that you should, guarantees nothing. Use their output for what it is; an opinion.
That is why you must learn SEO and understand how to assimilate and crunch data on your own and use the various tools as barometers. I typed all of that to say this, if you don't know how to use the G00gle keyword tool, meaning, using broad versus exact versus phrase searches, applying Advanced Options and Filters, using related searches, local trends, etc., even the best tool probably won't do you much of any good.
