Need help in recovering tanked site? Does 301 redirect will work?

Hello I have a site which was ranking fine (mostly on first page) from 2 months but 2 weeks ago it started tanking and all my posts now rank on 2nd Page. For your information It's an astrology site where I post astrology daily like "26th October 2015 Astrology". I heard that 301 with the same domain name with different tld will recover the site? I would love to hear from you guys

It might be that you got hit by a penalty. Also it could be because your backlinks got removed for some reason. There could be plenty of reasons which can only be known after a good look.

did you recently change/migrate your site? i have heard that when this can affect rankings.
