Hey OP

Hmm, the old "I can't get pregnant, honest!"

Ultimately, we're a long time dead. If you're not happy about your situation, it's your responsibility to change it.

Others have suggested getting out more and doing stuff. In my opinion, it'll just mask your unhappiness (as you can pretend things are OK). Sit down, figure out what would make YOU happy and go for it.

Good luck mate!

First time I felt like that I learned to surf.
Second time I felt like that I went to Nepal for bungee and kayaking.
Third time I felt like that I went to France.

What I'm trying to say - do something new, the rest will follow.

get a russian girlfriend. end of story.

OP there is some good advice here.

I went through something similar a long time ago. Got with a girl, got her pregnant had a son. I went through misery trying to stay with her even though i was making over $100,000 per year.

The best thing I did was split up with her. I was able to focus on myself again, I got in shape and did other things like martial arts, reconnecting with good friends and had the best time of my life. By the way I was 27 when this happened, so we were close to the same age. I am much older now.

Currently I am with the love of my life (see my av :) ) have my son who is now 16 and a wrestler in High School and even though I dont make as much money as before I am much happier.

Your finances are in order, just from what you have disclosed you are making around $70k per year on auto pilot, keep it up. Money helps you do the things you want to do and but the things you want to buy but by itself does not make you happy.

If you love your girl, stay with her, if you dont move on. You can still stay part of your sons life and you should. I wish you the best of luck and if you need any more guidance from an old guy, feel free to PM me....

You can have everything in life, yet be unhappy if you don't have a PURPOSE in life.

I placed myself in your shoes for a while and got an instant answer. I just need to start start loving my wife and my child. Go on a holiday with them to some other city or country if that helps.

Moreover, be a man dude and start accepting your responsibility. The solution can't get simpler than that. Above all, you are focusing on the things that you don't have as opposed to all the things that you have in life. With that attitude, you are bound to be unhappy all through your life.

Just my 2 cents....I can never clearly understand/feel what you are really going through in life, so these are general comments based on your post.

That was funny as. "Got russian gf back in India" lol...

i use to be rockstar, my friends use to call me rambo and salman, use to have 5 gfs at a time, now i just keep hiding from friends and social gathering
This is the true source of your problem!!! the fact that your optimism and happiness was attached and dependent on your former self and how you envisioned your life turning out! But once the baby came along, the rug was swept from under your feet and this all fell apart! The child and the girl do no fit in this old picture. You are semi embarressed and ashamed! You invested so much into your former self and had so much pride in that "rockstar" of a person you were that now that its no longer the case, you dont want your friends or family to see that Superman has lost his armour! Now you are just having a self pity party.

The cure.....get over the past!! That chapter has ended!! Bury it, have a funeral and dont look back! the rockstar is dead!! Cry and get over it ASAP!!

Now its time to look at your new life as a father and make the adjustments, your kid is going absolutely NOWHERE!! Embrace your child and focus on being the best father in the world!! this should bring you more joy than any party or group of friends! Your kid should be the equivalent of all your friends stacked into one Voltron! If you arent into your kid's mother get rid of her, or make some kind of arrangement where she lives with you for the purposes of your child but there is no relationship!! But you have to get your priorities straight....fv$k your family, fv$k your friends, fv$k your former self, hell fvck your baby mother....your kid is THE NUMBER 1 PRIORITY!! Once you focus on your child....God will honor that and take extra care of you! If your family and friends don't accept your child and girl than they were never there for you to begin with. Its moments like this in your life that build character, and sculpt manhood out of boys!

Well, first life is short, so do whatever you need to do to get a smile upon your face.

Secondly, you are over turned to money, money is a bonus and not a synonym of happiness. You bought 3 years of gym but you could have travel with your GF and your daughter to try to make things work. Do something you have never do with your GF and get out from the daily routine jail.

Stop drinking this doesn't help at all, your moral will be a yoyo if you drink every day.

And best advice i can give you is to see the life through your own eyes not through your parent's ones.

Face your life, introduce your boy to your parents, clear the air, and do things unusual.

Hey,friend
you should remember that you are a man; you are a father; you should make things better; and it's you that will live together with your wife for the rest of your life, not your parents.

As you said:

You are drinking, smoking and eating to much. This 3 combined will make you feel very unhappy no matter what.

Also, travel much.....relax, stuff like that

Well I'm 23 and I have a 1 one month old son, so I kinda know how you feel. The thing is, if you don't love her, just leave her. That's what I did and that's what works. You only have one life, so you have to be very selfish. Think about it, you only have a couple of your best years left. Are you going to waste them on someone you don't want to be with?

That's exactly the kind of advice that you shouldn't pay attention to. That guy basically wants you to give up everything you love and focus your life on your child. If that's what you want, go for it. But come on, you have money. You can keep looking for a special woman and you can keep living the good life.

Get an xBox man

I agree with this. Its a simple solution that can really work. When you are playing video games killing zombies and stuff you don't really think about the problems in life. When your kid gets older, you can play multiplayer. Keep the girl supported with money and nice things that you can afford but just have a "friend" relationship with her and she will get the idea eventually that you aren't meant to be together. Xbox man. All the way. Start gaming every day.
