Hey everyone,

I just launched a Google Ads campaign promoting a Social Media Marketing (SMM) service using completely neutral keywords, title, and description – nothing about "buy followers" or anything that would raise red flags.

✅ The ad got approved and started running fine – spent around $2 and started getting impressions/clicks.
Then suddenly, it got blocked with the same old "Enabling Dishonest Behavior" violation.
Now I’m wondering:
  1. Should I use a bridge page to avoid this, and if so, how do I set it up properly?
  2. Is cloaking useful here ?
  3. If this happens once, is the domain already flagged long-term? Or can I reuse it with another approach?
Anyone here running ads for SMM services and dealing with this successfully? Looking for real solutions that worked for you – even partial workarounds.
Appreciate your insights

"I've seen similar issues with Google Ads for SMM services. Here are some thoughts:

    • Bridge pages might help, but ensure they comply with Google's policies.
    • Cloaking is against Google's terms and can lead to further penalties.
    • Domain flagging can be long-term, but it depends on the severity and Google's review process.

Some potential strategies:

    • Revise ad copy and landing page to focus on legitimate SMM services (e.g., content creation, strategy).
    • Use Google's Ad Policies help resources to ensure compliance.
    • Consider appealing the block if you believe it was incorrect.

1. New Account – Low Trust Score
2. Invalid Payment Method
3. Ad or Landing Page Policy Violation
4. Multiple Accounts / Shared IP or Device

  1. Yes. A White page is definitely required. Use a old domain and something that would easily get approved in terms of content. Then comes the cloaking aspect because obviously you need to cloak your page.
  2. Yes
  3. You can definitely reuse it if you cloak your ads properly; hence proper methods as well as tools are required

I usually don’t modify my ads when the $2 limit appears, because it is likely to cause my account to be suspended when the limit is lifted.

You're running into a classic headache in the SMM game - Google loves to approve ads fast, then hit you with a "Enabling Dishonest Behavior" flag once things go live. It’s usually tied to your landing page content or the history of your domain. Whatever, bridge pages or cloaking are red flags and almost guarantee a permanent ban for “Circumventing Systems.” Instead, give your landing page a once-over. Look for any language that might hint at shady engagement tricks, even if that’s not your intention. Keep your message focused on strategy, content, or analytics - stuff Google’s more chill about. If it’s your first strike, you’ve got a shot at an appeal after cleaning things up. But if the domain’s already been dinged before, your best bet might be switching to a clean, aged domain with no baggage.
