Hi, I just learned about guest posting and I'm really confused on how to approach websites and text them for guest postings.
Should I just be nice and ask for a guest post? Or how would you do it?

Thank you in advance for the answers!

Use search queries like “Your Niche + write for us” or “Your Niche + guest post” to find websites that accept guest posts
Look for lists of top websites that accept guest posts in your niche. Read their guidelines carefully and send them your offer

To approach websites for guest posts, be polite, specific, and show that you've done your research. Instead of just asking, offer value. Mention why you like their site, suggest a few relevant topic ideas, and ask if they’re open to guest contributions.

You should email them to let them know that you can guest post for them.

For successful guest post outreach, be respectful and specific in your request. Highlight why you enjoy their content and suggest relevant topics that align with their site’s themes. Rather than just asking to contribute, emphasize the value your insights could bring to their readers and ask if they’re currently considering guest posts.

A simple, genuine proposal showing your interest in publishing content on their site is often enough to get a response. Websites that accept guest posts tend to reply quickly because they regularly publish content, whether it's paid or free.

If they don't respond to your email, it's likely that your message was filtered into their spam folder, as they may want to avoid receiving such proposals in the future.

And let's say I would want to start selling guest posts. Should I ask them if it's possible to do posts on a more regular basis?

Almost every site that accepts guest posts has a dedicated page for guest post guidelines. Make sure to read their guidelines and plan your pitch accordingly. Most sites clearly mention their prices for guest posts. From my personal experience, 99% of sites will charge you for a post, except for free platforms like article submission sites, Web 2.0, forums, and profile links etc..

If they are accepting guest posts, you can publish articles regularly.

It sounds like you're asking for help with writing something related to acquiring links from blogs and sites, or selling guest posts. Could you clarify if you're looking for advice on how to approach this in writing, or if you need a specific type of content, like a pitch or email template?
