My dear fellas,

This forum has truly opened my eyes to the possibilities in the free world. I’m reaching out here as my last hope since I haven’t found anyone to answer my questions. I’ve done some successful businesses in the past, but those opportunities are no longer viable, so I need to pivot.

About 2-3 months ago, I started researching fulfillment services, and I believe I am about a month away from launching my own business here in Germany. I have savings and free time for the next 4-5 years, along with extensive knowledge in fulfillment. However, I face two major challenges:

  1. Software selection for a customer interface: I am looking for a reliable provider that allows me to offer my customers live visibility into their stored inventory, shipments, returns, and real-time stock levels. Do you have any experience or recommendations?
  2. Contact acquisition for project work: I want to connect with dropshippers, importers, and exporters who require handling services. What is the best approach to reach these potential clients? I am not interested in ads, but rather genuine cold outreach. Are there specific forums or platforms you would suggest?
If you have any additional insights or important considerations for running a fulfillment service, I would greatly appreciate your feedback and comments.

Hey, it sounds like you've already built a great base. Having both experience and money to work with puts you in a good position. I would say to start small and test your systems before you grow. For the software, choose systems that work well with Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon. This will make it easy for clients to plug in. When you reach out to people, focus on creating relationships in specialty Facebook groups, Reddit forums, and LinkedIn. Before pitching your service, give value by sharing insights or quick victories. Over time, being consistent and really engaging will bring in the proper partners.

LinkedIn is a personal platform for reaching customers. Reach decision makers with a simple message that clearly outlines what you have to offer. Be active in e-commerce and dropshipping groups on Reddit and build trust by contributing without advertising.

For software, check ShipHero or 3PL Central—both offer live tracking, inventory visibility, etc. For reaching dropshippers, hit up LinkedIn or Reddit’s r/dropshipping—cold outreach works, but make it personal. Facebook groups for fulfillment also help. Avoid ads, just build relationships. Good luck with the biz!

Consider partnering with small logistics consultancies or warehousing software startups they often have client networks but lack fulfillment execution. It’s a strategic way to plug into existing demand without starting from zero.

Focus on building a reputation through exceptional service word of mouth in this niche can open more doors than any outreach strategy.
