Need help figuring this out

So I seen a lot of sites using this gleam.io tool for contests and it seems (my theory) that rather than do a true lottery as they say they simply pic a winner based on how many people shared the link each contestant gets

Any idea how to test this? I guess clicks with unique IPs but I want to hear other ideas

I would like to hear more about these as well, i've been playing around with contest and they work but making them look legit it's always a challenge.

Necrobump but I been trying to figure this with no success

So far its not clear how they pick a winner

Also they have a ton of measures against gaming the numbers, already tried everything

Need help figuring this out
