Need help at ranking local ecommerce store

I'm pretty much new here. I'm trying to rank local online store by local i mean my country. I already wrote articles, edit products description, add pictures, insert alt tag on them. I also set up watermark on pictures and tried to edit HTML code as much as possible to the rules.
In my competition on google i recognized about 5 or 6 online stores. I checked their sites what they are doing for SEO, but didn't discover anything that i don't have on my store. Only thing that i found is that their domains are 5+ years old. I also found interesting that one store is having their site translated in multiple languages(4), and this store is ranked first in most of keywords i target.

Don't just focus on SEO as in the link building and optimization exercise. Try to get traffic to your site by posting relevant stuff at relevant places and try to build an audience.
most ecommerce sites do benefit by having a properly optimzed website architecture and on-page.
Make sure you do not have any duplicate content or any kind of pagination issues on your site.

i think its pretty much all be said, but the bottom line is to KEEP TRUCKIN! if you drop the ball you wont get anywhere! It can be hard to crack local markets even tho there maybe less people fighting for positions, those who are have normally done there homework.. If a rank s worth having, you wont be alone in wanting it

Now days social media marketing is one good option for eCommerce site. you can also try classified adds posting and press releases, news contents sites to get rank your website
