2 months ago our website was hacked and a lot of bad content was included, also now we have 100k backlinks from pornsites. We’ve developed a new website, used a different server - everything’s new except for domain. Our website has a completely new link structure and new text. After new web was launched, it was indexed in about 1 week. After the index our keyword positions weren’t so bad - 2-4 page. After a week, all keyword positions went down to 12-16 page. At first we thought that the cause was new website and content but 4 days ago we received an email from Google via Search Console that bad content was found in our website and therefore the website might not be visible in Google search results. I’ve given the website for index but the website is not visible. Do you have any thoughts why might this be happening? Could the problem be in backlinks? Could the problem be in the website code? The strange thing that we have an identical website in code perspective just with different domain and content which is doing fine. All thoughts would be appreciated!

If the site is not of that much importance I would just start on a new domain.
