Nice guys.

If you need to write content by targeting a primary keyword, keyword density should be below 2%.

Always be unique with your content, proper research is always necessary before talking about anything, using proper grammar is important, and have fun.

I would suggest that you analyze your OWN user behaviour when drafting any content. Ask yourself what would attract YOU to an article... think of particular questions you'd want answered, and formats you're most drawn towards.

At First, concentrate on your content that is related to your niche.
Create fresh content because good content will get better ranking.
Select your keyword appropriate to your content.
Be clear that keyword density should be 2%
Try to avoid grammatical errors.

Hi!

Trust me, it's super-easy to write great contents that's sure to attract considerable number of eyeballs if you follow these simple rules:

Rule 1: Select a Topic that defines a "general problem" your audience face and your article is sure to give "multiple" solutions to it.
Example: 5 Ways to Keep Stains Out of Your Carpet

Rule 2: Define the problem briefly in the 1st para and state how the article is going to help them solve the problem. Keep it short <100 words.

Rule 3: Your article should be "Conversational". Make use of "I" and "You" in your article. This will make your readers think you're communicating directly and really want to help them out.

Rule 4: Keep your paragraphs short. Maximum of 3 sentences per para.

Rule 5: Never miss adding images, infographics, videos, etc. that's super relevant and lucrative.

Rule 6: Add outbound links to your article that supports your statement. Use as many outbounds links as possible until they are really helpful.

Rule 7: Add relevant datas, facts, figures to draw your readers attention.

I can literally go on writing and writing, but these are the top 7 rules you need to follow without fail, and you're sure to attract highest eyeballs ever.

Note: your promotional strategy should also be wise enough.

Here's a brief article I've written to guide people write http://earnwithanish.com/how-to-write-seo-blog-posts/.

I hope it helped. And thanks for the lovely question :)

Cheers!

First, define your goals - whether you aim to sell, engage or teach. Understand who your audience is, its age, interests and knowledge. Define in what way you can be helpful for it.
Think of what type of content you will reach your goal - case studies, tutorials, educatory tips etc. Study what your competitors publish and make your content better and stand out.
After you find out all this make up content strategy: people engaged in content creation process, scheduling new posts, ways of promotion.
And choose how you'll measure the results.

As for SEO aspects there many threads on BHW in SEO section you may avail of.

The best content should follow some steps.

1. Need to write without grammar mistakes and the content must be unique.
2. Don't spin the existing content in the Google to a new article.
3. If you write a blog post, you need to consider the KWs which you are used to building the content.
4. Article length matters. So used to write lengthy content.
5. Avoid Keyword stuffing in your content.

My best advice would be to read. Yes, it might sound crazy, but one of the few ways to write better is to read a lot. And I mean read classics - novels, stories, etc. Not some 'How to write better' bullshit. This way you will grow your mind and writing is just a tool to transfer your experience onto the paper sheet. And that's not the hardest part - it is much harder to learn to spot interesting things around you, than turning it into letters, words and sentences. And don't worry about the language - it's just a tool and you can master it over time. Focus on the important things first. Cheers

Practice, Practice, and Practice.. The more you practice, the better you will get! (TOP SECRET)

Finally, read some good blogs. I have some of them bookmarked, which I read often to get better at my skills.

Thank you for these tips. I will use these techniques as well. I am new to blogging and my sole purpose is to train myself to write meaningful contents. I want to post the link to my blog here for some advice. I don't know if posting blog link is allowed. :)

This thread is a bit old, but I'll leave it open if it's helping the new members. :)

Topic Selection:

First of all you need to research about the topic you are going to write. Most of the readers are come online to get the solution for their queries. So the topic will be the solution for the users and also it will be the unique style also.

Keywords Usage:

Before making an article you have to aware of "keyword density" "Keyword velocity" and "Keyword proximity". These terms are playing an important role in content making. If you make the article that will pass with these terms, it helps to increase the SEO value for the same.

Writing Style:

Always use your own style of writing don’t copy others. And the article will be more engaging and problem solution to the readers. Try to make article with minimum of 500 words to up to 2000 words depends upon the topic you chose.

Last but not Least:

Try to make sense in the article with polls, survey or making some questions to the readers to engage more with this. Relevant images or videos added to your content will make them more natural and support your explanation of the key points of the article to the readers.

i agrees with above, very complete and super and soo pratical. But I want to add some tips to not thinking about SEO, let it naturally scraping by Search engine. Better to think for what your trying to write than wasting some time to think some unproven SEO

If you want to give so SEO on your Blog, let the pro do it for you, they have their strategies to rank up your contents in Search Engine. Dont follow SEO Free Guide, most of them is unproven and trash.

Just focusing on what you will write on your blog more. And dont forgot to meet good article guidelines
