there is a spoof app for my droid. haven't used it yet. don't trust myself with it.
I need a cell phone traced because a girlfriend that works in corrections is receiving death threats via text message from inmates. i know the city where the number is located, but need the account holders name and info. Then we can find the inmate.

How in the world did an inmate get her cell #?
There has to be another person involved that gave her # out to the inmate.

def someone from the outside. i know how it works. someone on the outside with an internet connection is all you need. i'm going to turn the tables a bit and teach them a lesson they won't soon forget....just like my IM competition.

IF this is the real story? the solution is much easier because this is criminal offense ( even if they are in jail ) . She simply has to report it to authorities and they will investigate and can easily get the cell phone it came from.

Ok yeah if you give me the number I can find the account info(not for free). However if I were you I would go to the police with this they should be able to help you for free.

I'm sure that he doesn't want the authorities to handle it because it is personal. Also, I am pretty sure that the police are not the ones that this would get reported to... it would be the BOP or whatever agency his girl works for.

In regards to reporting the offense, she has already reported it to internal affairs and they refused to investigate. I will provide here w/ the number once I get it and she can give it to them. The cops like for stuff to fall in their lap, so I'll give them a jump start.
I, on the other hand, prefer street justice. Just the way I do business. Nothing in the rules that says they can't get punished legally and be dealt a little street justice. Plus it crosses state lines, so that's FBI shit too.
AND, as far as this being the "real" story, I would not just post some fake story to find a cell trace. This is exactly what happened.

You can end up creating a huge mess here for your girlfriend, escalating the situation - all the while messing up any cop investigations and giving the perpetrator some "outs" for when/if he does get caught.
