Need Amazon Advice, No conversions

Thanks for the clarification on this topic.
I wondered the same thing, if just a "buy now" button that sends them to Amazon or a button that says "Buy it now from Amazon" worked better. Seems the later is the winner.
Thank yoU~

I used to sell 300-400 Amazon Products a day

+ like other people said to you - best to keep it simple and use classic buy now type buttons.

A lot of times people don't even buy the product your promoting - but who cares it is all money in the bank at that point.

Be sure to add accessories to your Site as these will bring in more traffic and not a lot of people target that traffic -- and also these can add up
as if your marketing $1000 + products the accessories are expensive as well.

Amazon is a great company to work with - takes a while to get going but it is worth it.

This is great advice, i have a amazon site and thought i was being clever by having add to cart, view cart and a wishlist on my amazon ecommerce site, all seemed to make the site better - How wrong i am. I have learned a lot by reading what more experienced users do so now i am going to change my site and remove all the fluff. I could see things being added to cart then nothing, so maybe that's the reason.
Thanks

the problem with "Add to Cart" plugins is that you have to configure them with your "ID"

as what people do when you buy those - is make it replace your "ID" with their "ID" and they take all your Sales - instead of them going to you.

So you need to replace this code.

This is what happened to me when I first started in Amazon - and noticed this ---> anyway - once I went to Wordpress Blogs and quality themes and content
.... learned my lessons ....... it changed my life.

I advise all Amazon Marketers when your starting out and you buy Plugins and other things -- make sure your Affiliate Link is the one being used.... Click every link
and make sure you see the correct code going through when you do.

All the best

Don't forget if your Lost and struggling for ideas about how to make your Site better or your just not sure if your doing it right

--- that your not living on a deserted island ---

Simply go to Google type in your Keywords and see what other Amazon Affiliate Sites are doing -- and get some tips from them.

What is their theme / plug ins / keywords / content / organization / domain

this costs you nothing and can be quite valuable.

With Amazon you only have 24 hours where you earn a commission on any purchase. If they add the item to their cart then that item or items will pay out if they purchase in 60 or 90 days.

Protip: Don't automatically add stuff to the user's cart. Your only concern should be to get users to Amazon through your link. On my Amazon network of sites, less than half of the products purchased are the ones that they clicked on from my site and I couldn't care less.

This is true unless you use the buy now buttun that will give you a 90 day cookie, I dont know why they have chosen this strategy but they have

Does Amazon accept new created sites or blogs ? I thought you need a lot of visitors to be accepted.

When you apply for an affiliate account they accept any site, they give I think 90 days (don't remember the exact number, used to be 180 be they've changed it) to make a sale , items that you buy through your affiliate links, sales from your friends or family do not count, and they are pretty good at detecting those. Once you make a sale within 90 days, your website is up for a review, if it is a thin affiliate website with little content they may say, thanks but no thanks. You can reapply once you bring your website up to their standards, if it passes the review you're good to go. There are no further time limits to make the next sale.

There's something on your site that is confusing them. Don't know hard to tell man if you don't show us the site. It is most likely the "view cart" like you were saying. with most sites you don't have to view the cart before checking out so this is what's confusing them

DO NOT post your website here or on any other forum unless you want to throw it in the garbage.

I like how people try to bait you:)))
