Hello Friends,

I need a DMCA resilient webserver for hosting videos. Can you plz advise of which server is best for expecting 50000 visitors a day for streaming videos.

What should be the traffic bandwidth required for such volume?

And last what are the parameters to decide that your require multiple servers.

HELP will be truly appreciateD

I think I saw a thread the other day... shark servers or something. They were advertising they stick the finger to DMCA notices. Might check their reviews out.

Can you plz tell me about the bandwidth requirements for having 50000 visitors a day? How many tb a month?

Your main concern isn't finding a reliable DMCA-ignore web hosting provider, but an affordable server that can hold 50,000 streamers a day. It's doable if you don't host the videos, but if you are... you need quite an Internet port. So you will be embedding or hosting your videos?
 
They were advertising they stick the finger to DMCA notices. I think I saw a thread the other day..

You should go for the dedicated server. Anyways please let me know the below details.

The streaming bit rate you’ll use ?
How long your event will last, in minutes ?

Let say if you use 500 Kbps as the bit rate and that video length is 10 minutes then size of that files is 10MB. First convert 500 kilo bit per sec to mega bye per second. So it will become 0.0625 now convert 10 minutes into second that is 600. Now multiple it you will get 37.5MB and this would be the size of the file for single visit. So if you expect 50000 per day multiple this to 37.5 MB. So it's 1875GB wow now multiply this to 30 days that number will be huge. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I can vouch for these fellows as well. They really do ignore DMCA, although they do not admit it anywhere on their site - and rightfully so, heh.
 
I looked at the sharkservers thread with interest since i needed DMCA ignored but the amount of people on there complaining put me off
 
How much bandwidth will i require for hosting videos and having atleast 50000 visitors a day.
I am checking sharkservers but hesitant as they only allow 20 tb for 250$ fully managed server.
