Sorry my bad english!

I have been running a website for 5-6 months now.
I finally have some organic visits and have built some backlinks.

I was wondering, if I'll change the site description and title would this affect traffic on my site?
I would like to IMPROVE the description of the categories / tags on my site. Could I screw it up?

Yes it may affect positive or may negative.

Depends what you were targeting previously and what you are going to exactly target after modifications.

Overall bit of luck is required throughout the way, pray Google to be on your side :D

Yes, it can affect your SEO.

Your title should be relevant to the keyword you are targeting and your meta description should be optimized for click-through rate.

Yes, it can effect in any way either positive or negative rankings. Its better if you don't add much keywords than earlier metas. You can try to do little bit optimization and see the results.

Optimizing both title and meta description is always a good practice from an SEO perspective.
You should keep your targeted keyword in both title and meta.

any change you make to a website may (and should) affect traffic.

but then if you improve the site, this should have a positive effect.

(obvious I guess) so yes you can always screw a site by touching it, but if you are careful there is no reason to believe you will be hurt.

Your title should be relevant to the keyword and use tag in your post

Of you think your description is much more provoking this time from before. Then you can take a risk. Sometimes it work, bcoz I also change many time and sometimes it work or sometime it's not
