Need Advice on Growing My YouTube Channels

Hello everyone,
Although I've been uploading often, my growth has been extremely sluggish.
What initially enabled you to expand your channel more quickly?
Thumbnails, SEO, or something else?
I would appreciate any guidance.

You should actively engage in the comments section of high-view videos. Try to get top comments on popular videos from other channels to attract attention and gain more subscribers for your channel.
 
What is the niche? And pay attention to Audience Retention(Watch Time %) of videos, it is the most important factor, try to improve it!
 
Hey! Regular uploads are just the fuel, but SEO is the engine.

If your videos aren’t ranking in the Top 10 Search results for your keywords, you’re basically invisible to new viewers. Thumbnails are crucial for CTR, but they only matter after people actually see your video in their results. Focus on high-intent SEO first to build an organic foundation, then optimize your CTR. I haven't tried that much yet, but it's a good idea.
Do you have any advice on how to make a remark stand out and draw in clicks and subscribers?

All the factors you mentioned are important, but I think the content of your channel is equally crucial. You should create engaging and meaningful content and combine it with the elements you mentioned to achieve good growth.
 
thumbnails + first 15 seconds made the biggest difference by far. if people don’t click or they leave fast, youtube just stops pushing it.
seo helps people understand the video, but retention and click rate are what really move things in my opinion. i’d focus there first

Thanks, this makes a lot of sense, I think my biggest issue might be the first few seconds then.
Do you usually script your intro or just go straight into the content?
 
Consistency and focus on retention and CTR are key; if either of these values is higher, your video will be promoted.
 
SEO on YT means a lot of things and nothing. First of all knowing your niche would be good.
 
Create HQ trending content, catchy thumbnails, good seo be consistent. Once you see that your channel is growing you can also use likes and shares from smm panels to stay in the algo.
 
It’s usually a mix: strong thumbnails/titles for clicks, then good pacing/content for retention. SEO helps a bit, but it’s not the main driver anymore on most platforms. I’d prioritize packaging

Are there any accurate keyword tools for YT? The few I've tested have been all over the place

Honestly, most tools just provide rough estimates. VidIQ and Ahrefs are decent for volume trends, but for real accuracy, stick to the source.

Use YouTube's search bar autocomplete to find what people are actually typing right now. Also, check the Research tab in your YT Studio Analytics—that’s the only place with 100% accurate data based on real user behavior. Everything else is just a guess.
