[NEED ADVICE] Awesome product, how do i start selling it?

Hey guys,
First of all apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but didn't know where to put this...

So let's quickly get to the problem. Over a period of the last 10-12 months, I have
put in lots of efforts and created a truly wonderful product in the job interview niche.

Why is it wonderful?
(Or at least why do i think it so! )

Because its an all encompassing product when it comes to interview training.

Its not a 60 page shi**y report. Its a highly detailed product with:

• 16 PDF guides, each one very detailed and useful,
• MANY quality audio podcasts about, cheat sheets,
• a value packed 1 hour recorded webinar,
• and also a step-by-step blueprint for succeeding at interviews.

In short, its arguably the best product in the market right now for anyone seeking job interview help, training, etc.


What about the sales page? Site itself?
The site is clean, professional, belongs as a pen name of mine, linked with a professional linkedin, twitter account.
Can show the actual site to guys who really wanna help.

The sales copy was written by a decent copy writer (of course not pulitzer worthy, but better than many).

After reviewing the product, the copywriter himself advised NOT selling the product below the $97 mark.
(So you can generally get an idea of the quality of the product when I say it's good!)


Where's the problem?
In getting traction! And actual targeted traffic! Here's what I have tried so far:

1) Tried working out JV deals with people already getting traffic in this niche. Even offered 100% commissions for them to test it out. Result? Either no response or uninterested, delayed responses.

2) Tried direct selling with PPC (ppc > sales page), pathetic results.

3) Tried PPC with freebies for building a list, but the costptin ratio is too skewed. Bing doesn't have much targeted inventory, adwords is too costly to justify cost per conversion.

4) Thought of SEO'ing the site for various keywords myself (yeah I am fairly good with seo and have some good results). But the competition is too high with authority guys taking top spots for almost all results > stupid about[dot].com or cbs or other gov/edu sites.

So now i am in this weird position that I know I have a VERY good product
in an evergreen niche (especially these days when the job market is super scre**d).

But I am losing hope or I am too tired! in that I don't know how do I start
driving some quality traffic so I can test/earn/do something about it!

Yes I can spend around $2000-2500 if someone has a decent plan.
Yes I am in no hurry if someone has a plan that's more long term.
Yes the product's an evergreen product, will work even 4 years from now.

I guess I just need a push and a game plan from some of my brothers here!

What about listing it on Clickbank so you'll have affiliates pushing it for you?

Clickbank is definately a good idea, but onle if you have a really fantastic landing and sales page, because clickbank is all about marketing.

Yes i did begin with CB itself!! But didn't get enough traffic to justify!
CB probably works best when you already have a winning product with a decent gravity/popularity.

To get a winning product, you need an already running sales funnel.

To get a running sales funnel, you need targeted traffic at a justified cost (at least to break even, or at minimum loss initially)

And targeted traffic is where i am begin to lose hope now!
Too costly PPC, authority sites in SERP's, JV's too lazy or not responding!

So there you go, vicious cycle from day 1 !

I think the point of clickbank is that the affiliate has to pay the costs of PPC/SEO/convincing the buyer and you sit and wait for them to sell your stuff. Get it on clickbank and recruit some affiliates to help you sell it.

That's my point man! Unless affiliates see that the product has a good gravity, track record, who'll spend the time and money??

So for CB, you need an already established funnel that you can show your affiliates as proof in the affiliate section of the site.
