Hello everyone! I'm looking to write articles for $$ (as if i needed to say that, haha). **** Question is, WHERE do I go???**** I'm a great writer, and English Language/USA native. I can produce top quality content, but I'm not sure where to go to market myself. I have posted a gig on fiverr, so hopefully that will help? Anyways, I don't want to work with the content websites- I want to go somewhere where I can find long-term work relationships. So, can anyone point me in a good direction? Perhaps point me in the right direction towards someone who needs my assistance? Thank you fellow blackhatters, in advance- and of course, afterwards! Cheers! :drinking2

well, the pay sucks but associated content is the easiest to get into. focus on a niche and they'll give you a "beat" 10-15 per article. demand studios is better though.

You can register yourself on Elance,Odesk and provide samples of your work.BHW is also a good platform to offer your services. All you have to do is just properly market yourself by reaching out more n more people.

Thanks given to both, and i believe I've tried associated content, but- obviously i never stuck with it LOL. As for demand studios, is it an article sale site, or does it operate more along the lines of text broker?

MARK- I actually just had a glance at elance, but i'm not too wooed over by the membership idea haha. It does sound like a good site- but it only allows for 10 client contacts. I do think BHW would be the best- but there are so many 3rd world country's citizens here that provide articles for extremely cheap prices. Therefore beating me out- or at least i think. Hopefully i can find a few leads- after all... "you get what you pay for!", right?

DS is more of an eHow kind of thing. The assignments are usually about stupid stuff like 'How to jump rope" or something like that. It's good money, but finding good assignments can be challenging and the editors are a pain from what I know.

Since you've heard of textbroker, I'd just stick with that, especially if you can get to 4 stars. Pretty good money there.

Well, haha textbroker would be nice! However, I'm looking for more of a longterm underwork kinda thing. Then perhaps starting my own little company with workers beneath me. You know- upscaling lol. But, Textbroker... well, their assignments are usually too hard to write (i mean, come on. How much can you say about the difference between a fuel pump in a 67 shelby and an 89 bronco? LOL). They also tend to have VERY little info available for the topic online... One of the articles i wrote there, was 400 words over a cathedral i couldn't find $h!+ on, pardon mah french! HOWEVER- it is good training, I MUST admit. But with college, I've learned how to intricately "fluff" an assignment and still make it sparkle anyways. haha

With TB it's all about writing in your niche. I'm also in college and i can shine bs up pretty well ;). But seriously you can also use Fiverr, constant content, and here to get a steady stream of work. Especially here. You will definitely will not be short of work.

There is always a need for quality content writers and I have several that I use for my stuff... I believe that we receive about 30 - 35 articles a day from my writers for my various sites.

Pay range is generally in the 1.00 per hundred words although I have on writer that I pay 1.50 per hundred because he is exceptional so think on those lines if you are going to be building a business in that service industry.

I build large sites so most of the content that I outsource for is all related when it comes to one of my projects and I am sure that there are others like me that build larger sites and have many KWs that they want to rank for and need decent writers.

Aside from opening up a BST thread here, provided you have the necessary qualifications, you should look at some of the outsourcing sites that are listed above and start the process of building your business.

Also, just like any business, you may take some time getting it off the ground and making it successful so don't give up easily and don't leave any rock unturned as you never know where you will find business that can make you successful.

Haha well i'm a hard headed spirit, I am not quick to give up. Sometimes short on attention span, but you can't have it all LOL. I am hoping to jump straight into finding individuals who need writers, instead of middle man sites. Thanks for your tips Bass, and I know once i find some people, they won't be disappointed. I'm very gifted with writing, so I know once i find what i'm looking for, I'll probably be well off with this venture :)

One of our writers I found on one of the middleman sites and I gave that person a 300 article order... leave no rock unturned.

You sound like a good guy even though you are probably a Titans fan... Good luck and if there is anything I can do to help you out down the road, feel free to hit me up.

Honestly if you love writing, find a niche, learn SEO and start writing. If you can write 300 articles about 1 topic you will be sitting on a golden authority site. Turn this authority into a business and viola, constant stream of money rather than short term assignments. Or JV with someone who knows SEO and write them a 300 article website. It sounds like your looking long term, thats what I would do at least.

P.M. me if you like writing about painting lol, I am working on building an authority whitehat site for the long term and doing SEO with it (my career.) After around 6 months I plan to turn it into a business, since it seems like official BBB sites don't ever really get hit by any Google update.

-recent college grad as well :)
