I had to do this today actually. I tried several browser extensions first, but none of them worked. In the end, ChatGPT helped me extract the actual video URL, and then I downloaded it with yt-dlp

No longer works for youtube! I think firefox and a youtube downloader extension is easiest atm

jdownloader is an absolute beast when it comes to downloading ... anything. Including youtube. Been using it for over a decade, what a nice piece of software.
