I run a DJ networking pool. I throw lots of events around the country and collect emails, then I email the DJs about records. I do my best to make the emails look personal because I'm more likely to get substantive responses that way. Mandrill closed down so I went to AWS but they're giving me nothing but grief about the nature of my emails, which are rarely more than 1000 a day and normally much less than that. They want to know where I got the emails and they want me to prove everyone has requested the emails. In my line of business that's just impossible. Can anyone recommend an SMTP server company with good deliverability that won't break my balls over these kinds of things?
