Need a developer to find a solution for my iFame issue

Hello,

I'm looking for a developer to solve this issue for me:
I have a simple landing page with an iframe inside of it (I DON'T own whatever is in that iframe)
I want to make it work so that if someone clicks the button inside that iframe the father page (aka my landing page) react to that click within that iframe and acts and direct the viewer to a thank you page.

If you think you can solve this issue for me please contact me and i'll send you the landing page for further observation.

you can't modify the content within an iframe if you don't control the site that is loaded in the iframe.

Normally, you can't.. correct.

However, you could have a backend script (for example, written in php/ expressJS) that fetches content of the URL in question, on demand. Because that backend script is on the same origin, it can be embedded as an iframe as usual (or even be loaded on that page by going through the remote site DOM and parsing only the portion required, and then pasting that onto the current DOM). So the process becomes..

Iframe ->local proxy->remote site

This is easier said than done (for example, it can be a pita to fetch the resources {js/css/images etc} needed to make the page load correctly), but definitely doable.

Had a chat with OP and since the iframe is being embedded on wixsite so it's no possible I think to achieve that.

yep with a reverse proxy inbetween that loads it from the same domain its doable

but only if you can run own php scripts which won't work on a wixsite.
