Need A Creative Traffic Idea

I've never stalked a girls facebook like that.. the most i've ever done is look at her photos and read statuses. but i've never branched off of her site to look at her hot friends... and try to check out her ex's. that's retarded.
and I don't know of one guy that uses pinterest in my friend crowd. I created an account to check it out for IM purposes on my personal account.. and all I ever see joining are girls from my friends.. no dudes. I'm not saying no guys use pinterest what so ever.. but it's a small percentage that has been reported already.. over and over. I really doubt a guy is going to stalk them over to pinterest.. and snoop around. then click on a photo that leads them to a body building site which makes them forget about them?
if they're that into stalking then they aren't going to forget about them because another site pops open.. honesty, I thought you were joking in your first post.

Pinterest has 1.36 million users a day, 31% of them are male, 28% have household incomes over $100,000.
That is 425,000 men per day, the traffic on Pinterest has grown 289% from July to December 2011

Read this article, this guys client's fitness site received 73,000 visitors in 20 days. The OP asked for creative ways to get more traffic. If you think it is a dumb idea DONT DO IT.

Checking out a chick on all her social sites is called "saving yourself a lot of headaches." In 10 minutes I can figure out if she will be a waste of my effort or not. Trust me brother, its 10 minutes well spent. Last thing I want is some chick causing me grief. If that is stalking, so be it. I'd venture to say chicks will be checking me out also.. So what. She is not following me around town or standing in front of my house at 3 am. Get real man.

A lot of sales are made on sites we have stumbled upon in our internet usage. Obviously that guy who got 73,000 visitors to his client site feels exactly the same way.

I'm not saying you can't make money from pinterest.. and i'm not saying there aren't any guys on the site either.. but it's well known there's more females then males.
I'm also not saying you can't target people on pinterest for fitness products.. but your idea of how they would eventually get to the fitness site is what made me scratch my head.. and how you started to attack him by basically calling him gay when he questioned the idea you suggested.

Caitlin I do appreciate the idea... it was just what I was asking for, a creative new idea.... It does seem somewhat far fetched though as captchadreams stated, but thanks still.
This is what I need to do right here. I have this great idea that I've had since the beginning of the site where I'll make 10 sec. videos of literally every exercise imaginable and have a different page for each exercise under the exercises section each with its own little video. Then take all of the videos and upload them to youtube with "How to do (exercise name)".
I would also add a little 2 sec. thing to the beginning that said "FitnessMale.com" or something, just real quick.
I was gonna hold off a little on doing this, but maybe I shouldn't... maybe it's time to buy a video camera and do just that. All of these videos on youtube should bring in a good bit of daily traffic since people are always looking up how to perform certain exercises.
Btw I like the "Click here for no reason" box. I tried to resist but simply couldn't. Also I loved the article on self-discipline not being the problem.
Try YouTube.
Try to make a viral video. Give it time and work on a great one.. if it went viral, it can bring killing traffic.
You can also post heaps of video like these transformation stuff and others

My comment was a parody example of how people can find your site.. Guaranteed if I was checking out some chicks Pinterest page and found a site about mens health products.. I'd probably have a look and forget why I was on pinterest in the first place... You guys took it literal so I ran with it..

OK how about this, maybe she is Bi and her boyfriend wants to have a look at the menu and in the process he finds a pic from a mens health website, he clicks it to have a look...

Sheezus people... The whole point is to take advantage of PINTEREST. How the hell would I know what scenero would bring traffic to your site. The point is, it brings traffic to your site. The fact you think my comment was the only way it could happen.. Is very "use your R word here". IT WAS meant to be entertaining and thought provoking at he same time.
Its pretty easy sometimes to see and understand why decent BHW members flip out and get banned. Make a suggestion to try to help people with making money and all you do is get told your idea is retarted. It is very frustrating offering you guys ideas to help spawn your creative thinking and all you do is think our suggestions are retarted when you can not see the pig picture or think outside the box you are in.
Try to think of ALL the ways a site can help you.
It is a shame Nigel got banned because out of every comment on this thread HIS what the one you should have listened to and took to heart.
Sprice, You got some really good advice in this thread, more than most people get. What you do with the information is up to you. We took the time to help you out and try to get you thinking. That is what a lot of here do.
If you go at this for the long haul, 5 years from now when you are making money you will think back and say, damn, those dudes were spot on, that website I built back then did not offer a visitor a reason to stay and look around let alone buy anything.
How do I know? Because I was very thick headed when I first started doing this and it was people like Nigel that woke my ass up and taught me what I needed to do to make money at this.
