Pros?
Cons?

Any insight on the difference?

I am looking at creating about 7-8 domain names under .com

Looking for 2 year registry and also private under the WhoIs/Icann search.

I have one existing registered at godaddy, I think I paid to much.

Or is there a different place I can do this at a great price?

Thanks everyone

Namecheap do 1 year free privacy, Namesilo is free for life.

Namecheap do crazy BlackFriday weekend offers on domains IF you're able to grab any.

Namecheap have always some discount.
Check out the 88 discount or wtf.. So many cheap domain endings (tld) there for 1$.

Can't beat namesilo - very decent prices and renewals, no hidden fees, no shitty upselling lIke Godaddy and free privacy for life.

been using namesilo for about 4 yrs now and namecheap for about 2 (and godaddy for about 5 starting in 2008 i believe). I really like namesilo, they're inexpensive, have a very easy to use and understand interface (by that I mean u always easily and quickly see what all of your domain(s) settings are), don't try and upsell u at every corner like godaddy for ex, and very responsive if u have an issue.

in short, if u want to know what namesilo is like, imagine godaddy (and the confusion that goes w trying to figure out where everything is) and now imagine the opposite. that's the best way i can explain it w/o u just trying them out.

Op no one can beat namesilo. Free Privacy for life.

Namesilo any day, namecheap can be cheap with their support sometimes.

If I look for easy to use interface and support, I do not find much difference between these 2. I use primarily, namecheap, namesilo, dynadot, godaddy, name.com, ewallhost.com, internet.bs, 1and1 and few others. Except godaddy, i did not find any issues with the dashboard of other. For ease to use, the worst are godaddy and 1and1. Except these 2 you can pick any based on the promotion available. btw 1and1 offers at $0.99 domain

Namesilo is the winner. The best thing about them is that their registration prices are the lowest and on top of that, you get free WHOIS privacy for life. I am slowly moving away all of my domains from Godaddy and Namecheap to Namesilo.

i was looking at namesilo and namecheap yesterday. i ended up signing up with namecheap cuz of the ease of use unlike godaddy.

I have always used namecheap over godaddys and so. i appreciate the feedback from namesilo here, i might give it a try soon. I am very happy with namecheap so far.

Namesilo is the best imo because they have the best prices and basic platform for necessary domain tasks. No unnecessary features like other registrars. And if you buy a lot of domain like me, you can sign up for the discount program which will provide you with even cheaper domains.

Posted earlier today in this thread, I'm a fan of namesilo.

Received an email from them a few hrs ago about black friday discounts. Not sure if I should post the email but the same info is on their site at support > Promotions and Coupons

(Not affiliated w them in any way, just a happy customer for about 4 yrs.)

Whois protection?
Who cares? Who use real personal info?
Just make a clean gmail.com email address, set it and done.

Namecheap in my opinion, never had any problem with them.

You can do it what you want - change the name server and save it.
